From drifting to RC destruction in a blink of an eye! Ian is devastated... He adored his infraction. Both cars would have been traveling at 50 mph... 50 +50 =100 mph head on crash! OK slightly clickbaity but I need to mend Ian's broken heart somehow!

Even on a huge and frankly awesome car park like that, several RC's zipping around, it's bound to happen.
I'm surprised the damage wasn't worse considering the speed those things do.

I agree 💯 Arrma had nailed the looks with all of there new bodies!!! Man the Infraction just loves to eat tires!!!! Well Claire you did say finish it!!! Ok that was a pretty good crash for sure but that could’ve been way worse. I honestly thought the car was gonna be in more pieces. Well I guess we’ll see how bad it really is later in the live. The bright side is the CRCU care package should make Ian smile again!!! 👊👊👍👍

I feel this so hard. Poor fella. It shows a lot about his character that he was more concerned with looking at the other cars damage first. He genuinely is heart broken and you can see it's for both rigs. Build, bash, break, repeat.

Dam, took a serious knock that. Hopefully the damage ain't too bad, looks like could have been much worse. Gutting with something new and proud of when it gets trashed.

Ya i plowed mine into a curv doing about 60. Had to replace all the plastic up front. The infraction is insanely fast. It was worth it. I love that truck.

Hey Claire and Ian! Thought I would just suggest you try out the Traxxas erevo 2.0.
I have one and it takes a beating. After seeing the video where Ian just let's the Kraptongo full throttle at the track and blow out all the tires I thought I'd suggest the erevo. If you do consider getting one they aren't the strongest car out of the box and until you upgrade some parts (nowhere near as many you need to on the krapton) and poof! You have a pretty decent RC. I have one and it's awesome

That really hurts to watch. Such a nice car destroyed. I hope you guys get it up and running again as it was quite aw-inspiring to see it run. The bright side is that no one was hurt and at least it's not a real car head on collision. Best of luck with the repairs. 😵💫

Damn that sucks Claire and Ian. If it’s any consolation, my nephew got ahold of my kraton 8s 800 kv max 5 blah blah straight head first into a massive Boulder . It was my first big build so it’s kind of my baby to . I know exactly how Ian feels . I’m sure you will keep us updated on the full damage report , there’s always more than you first see. At first I thought mine was one shock arm, ends up that , a drive shaft, both out shafts, turn buckle,sway bar,steering bell crank thing and the chassis brace pins,plus the outer side sus pin brace. About 350$ worth . I feel for you Ian.🥲🤜🏼🤛🏼

That is the hardest part of RC, especially the cool looking ones. You want to run but not brake them and really it’s one or the other.

I once had a receiver glitch runaway full throttle head on into a curb. Main difference is I considered it karma and laughed because now I "needed" all the upgrades I previously wanted, lol.

I know how he feels. It took me two years to get over the destruction of an R/C car I took pride in building myself that got wrecked similar to this video.
Needless to say, I forced myself back in the saddle and rebuilt it, now its back on the road. 💙

Yeah that’s just one of those days. Wrong place at the wrong time. Looks like not too much damage though. Ian will feel better once it’s rebuilt and like new again I’m sure

Don’t know how long you’ve been in RC, but you NEVER go bashing, drifting (whatever) in a car park with other RC cars in the vicinity. On a track, with all the cars going in one direction, it’s hard enough not to crash into each other; In a car park, with other cars flying all over the place, is sheer lunacy! It was always going to be an accident waiting to happen. Sorry for your loss, mate. Expensive lesson.
