Wild Clouds got in touch about a bunch of stock that has been sewn to the wrong size specs - nightmare!! The brand wanted these repurposed, so they got in touch to see if I can have a go...and here is what I made with the 12 pairs they provided!

Everything looks incredible!! Fun question, did you unpick all the seams or only the waistbands and then cut through side seams? I have 2 pairs of jeans I want to upcycle and getting the waistbands off was easy but the side seams are a real challenge because of how they were sewn. I’d prefer to unpick them but if it’s a losing battle I’d rather learn that now than after I do it
I did a mix! The seams were french seamed, so where I could, I tried including it in the garment as a design feature!☺️✨

Hi Scarlet, what an awesome collaboration between Wild Cloud and Afrayed Upcycling. Your brilliant creative mind has blown my mind. The final looks of every garment are so funky, unique and feminine. The skirt and top with ruffles especially. Great use of the trousers by Wild Cloud and I love how you have used the scraps to make the adorable headbands and the cushion of course. These will sell in a heartbeat! Love love love ❤️ 😍 💖

I love all of the re-purposed garments! My favourite is the black/white dress and the shacket! Loved the headband. Did you use a pattern for that or make it up? I'd love to make one. I wish more companies would do this with small makers like yourself. 🤩

Hi Scarlet. I am really impressed at how you repurposed the trousers into so many different looks. My favourites are the wrap top and especially the tea towel dress with the cats. The print just worked so well with the tea towel.
