To help making nice curves while ironing, you could make a thin cardboard patterns of the wings. This will help heming in the shape you want effortlessly, evenly between each pieces, and without weird corners 😊 All you have to do is place the cardboard pattern on your fabric piece and fold the hems over it, with a lot of steam (be careful not to burn yourself !), it works wonderfuly !

I believe those crocheted things are called "doily". Or doilies. Elderly people would stick those things on the arms of stuffed chairs and on the backs of sofas. Unsure why. I think it was for looks? But here in the States (i am in the Midwest) we call them doily.

Hi Scarlet. I am really impressed at how you repurposed the trousers into so many different looks. My favourites are the wrap top and especially the tea towel dress with the cats. The print just worked so well with the tea towel.

Selecting fabrics...you are such the professional!! Love your style and manner. Tell me, do you ever get cross? 😁🥰I think lining the dress is a more finished look, especially if you use different weights of fabric with semi-sheers. Well done! Your tutorials are getting much easier to follow and you always mention the 'what will happen if you do this or don't do that'. I would say you have had plenty of experiences in getting things wrong, which we all do, and this makes us a better creator.❤❤❤

I love your modest humility, you professional, you!! 😂If you use your table as a guide for measurement often, well, I think you do that, using clear tape, stick a tape measure along the top of your table and you will always have the measurements you need readily available. If your measure is inches one side and cm the other, just tape 2 of them. Hope that helps
