@dootza they are most certainly doing a bit together lol they had that energy throughout the interview, and they're really great friends and admirers of each other in real life, Also, it's easy to tell with two women as famous as these two are if they're "for real" or not, because they would never act in that derisive, awkward manner on a televised program.
Dawn, angry??? I'm really amazed that so many people don't seem to get it (going by the comments anyway). The 'retarded child' is part of Sarah's act and Dawn was just assuming the only role possible in front of it, the slightly exasperated adult. They were just riffing off of each other.
Can I just say that the way Dawn French pronounces her name is indeed corrct if you have an English accent. My name is Dawn and in Scotland it's pronounced Don, unlike the posh way from the further South. So basically is depends on your accent.

I have to say, I don't quite get what everyone is saying about dawn and sarah. It seemed to me they were just larking around. That 'pissed off' Dawn is so not the usual/real (though heck, what would I know?) pissed off Dawn.

Her name's Sarah Silverman, and that's pretty much her comedy style in general - bitchy and snarky. One of those Marmite Comediennes ;^)

I dont know what Sarah Silverman is doing here anyway, nothing she has said, in any of the other clips or this one is actually funny, and I like her in general. But here she just takes being in your a little to far.
