I just love the phrase "I won't spare it!" There are foods I can say that about. Potato pancakes are one of them!

It’s a potato latke! Been eating them my whole life. Part of my Ashkenazi Jewish heritage. Apple sauce and/or sour cream is my always!

Hello ! The "pancake" name is because o it's shape, like a flour pancake. It is usually eaten with American or other countries Breakfast. I don't put egg in mine, and I'm mostly eating because it's POTATO and goes well with meat. 😊😊

Just whipped up a batch the other day. They were bigger though, and served with applesauce...the traditional german way! Lol. I have eaten amish ones served with sour cream...but i think i prefer the applesauce. Glad they enjoyed them. We only use salt and pepper in ours...and onion.
I need to slow down and enjoy the food like they do.I eat like some one is going to steal it from me need stop and smell the flowers.Or in the case potato pancake.
