um so my foreign friends. These very simple food is a comfort to us it is something we grow up on a cold day our mother brings this to us. So happy to see you react to this. The ingredients aren't difficult. Cheese bread a soup made of tomato but it is so comfort to the soul. I think you understand my meaning it is like a warm blanket comes to you.
Grilled cheese and tomato soup are the PERFECT combination. A+ treat!! Did you know that putting cubed cheese in tomato soup so that it melts is also really good. It is so fun to eat!

Naveed, your English is so much better! You would go crazy in my favourite cheese store! They have approximately 180 different cheeses from all over the world. They also let you sample any cheese! Also called my lunch.
Grilled cheese is something I have eaten my whole life. Tomato soup too. Put them together and you can only feel happiness.
I've never had Grilled Cheese with Tomato soup, however, I have had a grilled cheese with a slice of tomato in the middle. So, I see the connection. One of my favorite foods!

A classic, easy American comfort food. Buttered bread, good cheese, perhaps some mayonnaise, maybe a sprinkle of your favorite seasoning if you're feeling fancy, and a hot pan and a spatula. That's all it takes. My wife has health problems that sometimes make her belly sour and kill her appetite, and often she will ask me to make her a grilled cheese sandwich, because it's all she can eat. And like others have said, a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup is often what your mother might make for you if you were home sick from school. Oftentimes, to an American, a grilled cheese sandwich tastes like love.

OK, she is your grandmother, still cute and adorable. In the winter I also enjoy dipping my grilled cheese sandwich in tomato soup. I believe it is a comfort food anytime.
Grilled cheese with cheddar or provolone and tomato bisque with milk or tomato soup with milk and some fresh ground black pepper. YUM.
Naveed is 100% spot on. Pointer, best grilled cheese is baked. I make mine in an air fryer. Crunchy crust, super smooth inside. Medium thick bread is best.
Another interesting thing to do with the grilled cheese, just before you grill it, sprinkle your favorite spice or chili powder on the buttered surfaces, give it a quick spread with the knife, then grill it as normal. You will have the flavor of the grilled cheese and the spice as well, like garlic powder, chili powder, garam masala, or whatever you want to try.
never understood why people call it a Grilled Cheese Sandwich, when it's not really grilled.
We always called it "Cheese Toast"... because it's usually toasted on a hot griddle.

I love to put salt on my sandwich.
I wonder if they ever get any actual hot food. Everytime they get something, it sits there until they get around to it. Not hot grilled cheese is.....no grilled cheese.

What cheese did you use? You can't use any kind of cheese. You have to use sliced chedder cheese. It's always chedder cheese, and butter, with fresh bread.
Cheddar is delicious, but American cheese is meltier, and better for this application, in my opinion. (It needs to be a good quality American, not the "singles" type.) Of course, I'd enjoy either.🧀
