Right on Ethan, I do fish for smallmouth and in fact, heading to the PA rivers here in a few weeks for a trip. I have 4 rigs for smallmouth in the river, A Hellgramite on a ned, a ZMAN Craws on a small jig, a whopper plopper, and a crawfish bomber squarebill fished slow. That and of course live crawdads.
Look at this guy bragging, "I've had too many big fish bend out hooks..." 🤣😂 Just joking with you but have you tried any of the frog hooks(the double hook kind) that you can buy by themselves?
@@wendellfishingHave you tried a double-hook on the z-man frog? Im curious if there’s a difference between using a single hook versus a double hook as far as the action goes since it’s so light. Im thinking you would need one of those wire pins to screw it into the head of the frog.
Great video, awesome tips!
Thanks MK, appreciate the encouragement
Awesome tip for these as i use as well with the pop shadz. Drop of super glue on the shank at the line tie. Read it somewhere and worked for me
That's a great idea!
I’ve been having a really hard time lately. Especially with smallmouth. Do you ever fish for smallmouth?

@@wendellfishing fishing in rivers is much more entertaining especially in summertime when the bass are super slow and deep in the lakes and ponds. 👍
