the sad thing is that these MLMers are SOOOOO CLOSE to the facts. it's DISGUSTING that we live in a first world country and 1/10 people live below the poverty line. it's DISGUSTING that companies like Amazon are able to pay people poverty wages. it's DISGUSTING that people cannot afford to live. but the answer isn't to recruit those people into MLMs, the answer is activism and pressuring our government to serve the people and not the 1%.

I left Arbonne, it was because I finally heard “that’s a pyramid scheme” one too many times. The final time that finally made me quit was when my girlfriend, without knowing that I was signed up (I wasn’t active for about a year at this point), was telling me about her mom being a part of Arbonne. We were recruited from different cities about 20 hours drive from each other and the stuff her mom was being told from her up line we’re the exact same I was being told. Proving that it was all a script and my up line was using the same lines to shadow my doubts as her moms upline was.

"How can I be a perpetrator and a victim? Pick a side". Rude af. A jury picked a side with people like Cyntoia Brown when she was both a victim and an alleged perpetrator. But they aren't making money off of her, so its different. If you can literally be human trafficked and still get convicted of a crime against your captor, then why would it be impossible for you to be a victim and a perpetrator in an MLM. Its the deliberate tunnel vision for me. Self centered and gross.

So disgusting how they would push us to get new Market Partners or to get pv (personal volume) up they would say “hey I’m going to zelle you x amount of money, place an order and send to this address. Videos like this are just proof that people are watching/listening and questioning themselves and their upline. If it wasn't making an impact from people leaving or downlines reaching out to people like JL then they wouldn't take time from their precious "multiple million dollar empires" to address it. And THAT MAKES ME SO HAPPY! Plus...hear me out on this....One thing I think they don't understand is that(at least in my mind) by constantly addressing it they are actually probably sending newer/possible recruits TO this type of content because they aren't in deep enough yet to be 100% mlm brainwashed and/or are curious. So I say keep 'em coming because people need to understand what awful people they are, the toxic relationships involved, and what these companies are really about.

Soooo where are all the single moms making $300 a month from their MLM? Because your income disclosure statement determines that is a lie. 😂

I was never in an MLM, but anti-MLM creators helped me to not get into one! A few years back during Lularoe's collaboration with Disney, me and my mom were purchasing leggings from consultants & thinking about joining in on the business. A few nights later, I stumbled upon the documentary that Roberta Blevins was in on RUclips & needless to say we never bought in. Similarly back in high school, I was recruited to a "job opportunity" from who I later found out was Cutco. This was before anti-MLM was really a thing, so I have the very few RUclips videos that were there at the time to thank for that. And then just last year I was able to recognize that Touchstone Crystal by Swarovski was an MLM from the knowledge I acquired from watching various anti-MLM channels. I only just started this video, but wanted to comment because I know you're helping people out ❤

I never joined a mlm because of the old phrase of if it's to good to be true, it usually is. I was approached at least once by Amway when I was in college. I went to the meeting and didn't join. That was way before I was anti mlm back in I'd say 2006.

Never been part of an MLM, but you and many other creators moved me from a casual, ‘sounds sorta sketch’ person to one who is much better educated about how poor the success rate is, what toxic behavior is common, etc. A couple of times I have also now known a particular company is an MLM, and been able to warn off friends or family members when the business model wasn’t made obvious to them by the person who was pitching it.

I didn’t even know I was being manipulated until I realized that my team wasn’t making that much money. The amount of effort put in was just too much for me and them to be paid basically...peanuts...so I used that experience to start my own entrepreneurial journey and I just used my experience in the MLM as a stepping stone....one of my lessons being, know your worth lol....MLMs do sell you dreams, telling people that you can make this your only income and live lavishly is illogical, and a lie, by the way they make it seem easy....it’s manipulation honestly...I found CC SUAREZ on my RUclips browser and all I could do was keep quiet while watching her video, because I was taking in what she was saying...like I was really taking it in...and that’s when I realized that I wasn’t crazy ...lol MLM’s aren’t really worth your time, she validated and confirmed a lot of the thoughts I had when I left the MLM I was in....Most of the women in MLMs are victims, I hope they see the light. ❤️ ....then of course I found your content and immediately subscribed, cause why not feed yourself with more truth? Lol . You’re amazing! Thank you for your content, I am always looking forward to it. 💕

ok but like, sales game girl colleen,, she has a bachelor's degree in psychology (according to her own linked in profile) and i find it disturbing honestly that she's taken that knowledge and is weaponizing it to get more people into her pyramid scheme. it's so gross to me that someone can go to school and get advanced degrees in the mental health field, only to turn around and use that to actively manipulate people for her own financial benefit. idk if she's still licensed as a counselor but if so, she should have that accreditation removed. she is not ethically sound enough to be giving anyone advice.
it's also super icky that she kept agreeing with jessie lee saying that shit about "how can i be a perpetrator and a victim" because i know damn well she knows that there is a whole ass psychological effect based on that exact thing, the cycle of abuse or smth like that i can't remember exactly but it basically says that people who are victimized are more likely to become abusers as a form of coping (or rather, not coping) so it's actually very possible for someone to be both a victim and a perpetrator. it's really quite insane for her to sit there with that knowledge and let jessie lee spout bullshit like that.

Its dangerous to say we should get rid of them because its beholden to whoever holds the power. Imagine if Jessie Lee controlled the narrative and shut down this channel.
