Jason, these Deutz tractors are very popular here in Argentina, an there are a bunch still running. They used a more basic cab, but man, these tractors are so overkill in terms of axles, transmissions, etc that gained the reputation of being almost indestructibles.
We run a green 9150 FWA, a green 7110 2wd, and D100-06, and several pieces of Deutz equipment. Love it all. Great job.
the aircooled engines were the best we have had good luck with deutz
They are good tractors. I wish they got more attention than they do.
We have a 9190 we use for odd jobs around the farm. The big duetz air cooled engine pumps out some serious power!
Had a 9190 as well. Loved it
We had a 9190 for a few years. I always thought they were a really cool looking tractor. The squared off front corners of the cab gave a little more room for monitors than the angled corners of the white cab.
That's a beautiful tractor - although I'm an Allis fan I think it looks better in the green. At the time of the Allis take over Deutz- with Fahr added in 1968 - were part of the Klockner-Humboldt-Deutz AG (KHD) group. In 1995 Deutz-Fahr joined the Italian Group SAME/Lamborghini/Hürlimann to become the SAME Deutz-Fahr Group, now the SDF Group.
I use deutz tractors on my farm in Ireland 🇮🇪
Love my 9150 it's orange
Phenomenal tractors. Deutz green is the way to go. We run four Deutz Allis tractors and two Same air-cooled tractors on our farm. You can't go wrong with the air-cooled engines.
Is your farm in Illinois and visible from I70 by chance?
Great old tractors there Jason. They will continue to run long after the modern techno machines are down and out.👍
That's a pretty cool tractor.
😎🚜
That's a nice looking tractor!
Would be nice to see more of the Deutz Fare tractor equipment line. We use to farm with a 100-06 Deutz tractor.
Would be great to see a U.S. Deutz DX in action.
Yes it would. I am a Deutz fan and looking for a DX to film. The BTP team did get a D1006-30 filmed last week.
Very neat! Thanks for showing us!
Very cool to see.
Run a spring green 9150 two-wheel drive on the farm,Reliable tractor very economical.
Very cool. I am a Deutz-Allis fan. The 9100 series is to often over looked.
those are sharp tractors, we have saw a few of them in our area. mostly hooked to carts these days
Great video, on these great tractors
I like these deutz tractors. I've heard good about them. Shame about the whole AC and IH situation back then.
Nice looking iron
i love 2wd tractors please more 2wd videos do you ever plan on filming in europe there are some rare machines over there like the arcus combine and some self proppeled deutz balers
Great video!! Loved it!!!
Wonderful ❤❤❤❤
One thing I would like to see is maybe a short interview of the farmer of what it's like farming with a rare tractor
If you can find a retro fit auto steer for your rare tractor I am sure there would be a very short list of complaints. Being able to work on your own equipment is the main advantage.
@@edwarddavis507 yea but what about parts that are Deutz-Allis specific
@@Blackwellll3066 there really are no DA specific parts. These 9100 series are a White with a Deutz engine and literally, not figuratively, zero Allis components. The transmission is the same as any Cummins powered White at that time, and parts for those aren’t terrible to find. There’s also plenty of Deutz parts to be found even here in the U.S.
@@nellsonstout7001 cool didn't know that
@@Blackwellll3066 well, I should say plenty of Deutz ENGINE parts, if you know where to look
Good to see deutz allis tractors at work👍😉 it is a great classic tractor😁👍
I am a spring green fan. This was a nice one to get to feature.
I used to use a green 9150 to run a hesston 4900
Another enjoyable video with great commentary!!!! Thank you, John T.
Good to see different manufacturers. BTP features all kinds of farming equipment and that's awesome!! Thanks Jason 👍🏻.
My goal is to film them all 😁👍
@@bigtractorpower Just curious how far out of state do you travel? I see most videos seem to be Western Kentucky, Illinois, Wisconsin... do you ever make it Ohio? I live just about 30 mins from Coldwater, Ohio where they had that manufacturing plant. Then again we have local guy Farmhand Mike or Mike Less from our area too.
@@tigerdefensesystems I really like Mike's work, especially the greater length of his videos and the drone work.
Hello! Fine strong tractors...
Deutz Allis 9100s are awesome tractors.
@@bigtractorpower 👌
Excellent video Jason👍🏾 Have seen a Deutz tractor in many years .
Beuty Tractor
Thank you for watching.
The old girl is in good shape 👍
It sure is. They are solid tractors.
old school...great video great job
It’s the best school 😁👍
@@bigtractorpower That's for sure....may the lord bless your work
Good video.
He was a green monster with a lot of power
Deutz Allis 9100 series are great tractors.
Very nice video 👍
Yeah we run a green 9170 painted green with FWA.
It wasn’t a good tractor needing an extra inter cooler after market for the transmission
Interesting. I have heard they were generally good tractors.
I have a 9170 I found a issue with the cooling fan would be stut off when the hydraulic oil got to temp fixed it by disconnecting the switch and then fan runs all the time. I think this is only a problem when the exhaust temperature thermostat doesn't work.
From my understanding, those Deutzs were basically White's with a Deutz engine. I think that shows how well engineered the Oliver's were since the Whites were basically still Oliver's with different sheet metal. I know I'll catch some flack about how primitive the Whites were, but that's only because they didn't have the flashy options that the big brands had in the day. I still love the Oliver's and will probably never be able to justify owning a tractor new enough for it to even be a White, but oh well. Maybe some things need to be somewhat simple
You’re 100% correct about everything you just said
Top vídeo☺☺💪💪💪👍👍
It's a great machinery and i like watching your Video .
It's been quite a few years since I've done any baling and I've never run one of those big balers like the one behind the Deutz. Is the liquid in the tank a fungicide to prevent mold?
Qq0
Yes it is. Citric acid.
I doubt it’s still set at 170hp, the engine in those tractors could do substantially more. My 9190 mfwd was turning 235hp.
Awesome Jason... I think the new duetz tractors are some of the sharpest on the market..
Great vídeo Jason.
Thank you for watching.
💪👍🚜
Thank you for watching.
Deutz 2WD! Never seen one.
Here in Aus in the 1980’s Deutz put out a “DX” series of tractors, green in colour similar to the first tractor in your video. Don’t know where they were made, but they were absolute rubbish, everyone that had one wished they’d never bought the thing. Very few of them have survived to this point in time, hope your U.S. models were better. Regards from Down Under.
there is a few of them around my area, they seem to be used for light work. i know you guys have a tough climate thought and where i live is milder so maybe thats why
We had those DX models in Europe with the same hood style painted in green, people still use and like them for the very fuel efficient engine and robust transmission.
It's almost a matter of pride to own a original DX
@@sch3l3 there rare in my part of the usa, ove only seen two and the same guy has them. One green with a front loader the other orange.
Love the green
It is a stand out tractor.
Our neighbor had a deutz Allis tractor that I got to use was 4/4 an had a cab think only 75 or 80 hp
I like the orange version little more.
The orange is far more popular. Many green ones have been repainted orange. I am partial to the spring green myself.
With the FWA model they don't look as long hey
Well the tires are wider than the original
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤩🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰🥰🚜👍
Same engine as the deutz DX 8.30 or DX 230 /250
Is a bf6l513r set to 193hp in the 9170 and 212hp in the 9190. Saw one for sale once that got a replacement engine with the aftercooler. I was told that the White driveline are good for 250hp continuous though this Deutz at 250 or a 8.3l Cummins is completely different torque than a Cat 3208.
I'm guessing the DX models were Deutz farr
DX models were Deutz Fahr. They were rebadged the 6000 Deutz Allis series after 1985. I am working on filming a DX for a future video.
@@bigtractorpower interesting my uncle's have a dx120 very good tractor in it's day
I think the Deutz-Fahr DX series spanned into the Deutz-Allis 7000 series as well. Dad had both a 7120 and 9150 back in the 90s.
Not much hay in them rows.
Are there in america some fiatagri tractor?
Yes, the 80 series (like the 1580) and 90 series (like the 180-90) were sold under the Hesston name.
Video deutz f4l514 änd d 8005 ccil 🙏🙏🙏🙏😍🍻🍻
The only f4l514 I have seen in the US was at a dealership that specializes in antique tractors. Never seen an 05 in person. From what I understand Deutz got into the US market right as the 06s came out. If there is something older here it probably came out of Canada.
1) what’s the tank on the baler?
2) are those air cooled engines?
3) Are those tractors super long or is it just me?
Thanks for all of the great videos.
Yes the 9170 is air cooled with a Deutz 9.6l engine that is about 5 foot long 584 cubic inch.
The tank holds citric acid which is applied to the bale as a preservative to prevent mildew in the hay.
The 9100 series are a White tractor with an air cooled engine.
@@rustyshank912 thx
@@bigtractorpower thx
Did anybody else notice there is no sound in this video?
I think you might have video muted on your end. There is full sound
It's a common glitch in the system on RUclipss end. Back out of the video then get back into it. Should fix the issue. It always works for me
No I checked that before I said anything at all.
Ok thanks for the tip I will try that.
@@brianrutherford3681 you're welcome sir.
The styling looks more out of the 1970s than the 90s. The story of that is pretty much the story of capitalism isn't it; all those once proud names swallowed up into a gigantic corporation thst killed them off one by one 😕
Sure don't know why people would buy those off brand tractors
This one is not off brand. It was built in the New Idea corn picker/manure spreader plant in Coldwater Ohio. It used a White tractor cab and transmission pair with a Deutz air cooled engine. Built in the United States using well known brand components. These 9100 series bring good money yet today.
When it comes to off brand tractors they are bought because they are cheap when most farmers are too scared to touch them which is funny I have a SAME Panther 90 that so far any part I ordered I have gotten a SDF part just kind of slow.
Deutz found out the hard way just how loyal guys are to a paint job. When them made the mistake of going from orange to that ugly green the permanently lost a lot of die hard orange users. Used to be a lot of Allis in this area up to that point but most of them refused to buy a Deutz even if it had Allis in the name. Then you saw IH and Deere really start to dominate.
Deutz I always thought were green. And we're bloody good tractors
Funny enough I bought a Deutz 9170 for the big engine not really interested in the white part of it. The Deutz Fahr 8.3 was better
Deutz was green. Allis Chalmers was orange. Deutz bought out Allis, changed to green, found out they couldn’t sell any tractors, brought the orange back, still couldn’t sell any tractors cause the damage was already done. There’s a reason Deutz Allis tractors are hard to find. They didn’t sell nearly as good as the 8000 series Allis tractors they replaced.
You mean incredibly cool green. Nothing ugly about that.
I stand by my statement.
Sorry the Deutz-Allis tractors were just ugly. I know times were hard but imho Deutz killed Allis Chalmers Co
AC was allmost dead to that time !
@@mbury8004 Deutz drove the last few nails in the coffin though . Different managmant might of helped them through the bad times and we might still be seeing the bright orange tractors .They were so awesome looking before Deutz. Way better looking than Deere
I am an AC fan and a Deutz fan. These 9100s are pretty bullet proof. Good machines. I wish like many AC kept going but AC was a merge of Allis and Chalmers in 1901. The AC tractor line came from Rumley through a but out. Unfortunately mergers and acquisitions are part of farm equipment. AGCO built from Allis is one the top farm equipment companies world wide.
@@dougshaw9701 That were hard times back in that days and a lot of companys had big problems .
@@bigtractorpower I still like the the Allis Chalmer name and the nice design from back then
