If Barry Allens ripple makes us have Aerith survive through the entirety of the remake series then im all for it. Its the one thing that damn speeder did right :P
Nomura doesn't have any credit for any part of the story. Nojima (Lead writer on the original) has main credit as writer... and the person effectively serving as creative director for the story is Motomu Toriyama, who served the same role on Final Fantasy 10 and 13. So you should take those as your metric to set your expectations for where the story will go. Nomura has story credit on the original PS1 game, only... and on this is serving as project director and concept designer. If you look at the credits for Kingdom Hearts, Nomura has full credit for the story, not just director.
To an extent...this has just as much feel for Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross - a series that had some early plans linked with the original FF7 in the planning stages, IIRC
Thats the only thing i was okay with at the end... he didnt deserve his death.... and him and Aerith belong together. I just dont know if i can get past his new voice actor lol i want the origional english voice of zack from CC
Feels .... Crisis Core End is Brutal for both Zack and Aerith's Feelings..... I hope the sequel of this remake will show Zack back.... And Cissnei shows.....
When aerith said she missed the steal sky at the end of the remake I teared up because at the end of crisis core Zack said that girl said the sky frightened her.
It is because she knows that zack dies in open sky and not below midgard. Poor girl... square enix destroyed here mentally, lovelly and physically. They don't like her character at all haha
I will not call this a "remake". Remakes is what REmake is to Resident Evil or SoTC ps4 is to SoTC ps2. For the first 95% of FF7R, it was a remake but then the last 5% turned it into a reimagining.
@@dexterjosefamata2398 That seems more accurate in this case. Much like with the Star Trek reboot. Rather than tossing out the original continuity, it created a divergent timeline within the actual narrative.
@@KamikazeeGecko I think her gloves are seen next to Biggs in the ending. Also we didn't see Wedge die, we just heard glass breaking, and I guess they're gonna explain that he landed on the roof of the elevator that the big robot tank was in, since it came down later than the elevator that Barrett was in.
In an alternate universe, Zack survived... remember when he suggested that he and Cloud should become mercenaries when they get back to Midgar? They would have still met Avalanche. Interesting. Fate.
Because there seems to be a connection between the Whispers and Aerith, she seems to have knowledge of the original Final Fantasy VII timeline, like how she knew Cloud Strife was a mercenary, but she hid this knowledge by saying she guessed from his weapon. She also knew Marlene's name without Tifa telling her, and warns Cloud from falling in love with her because it would only cause him pain.
she warns cloud to not fall in love because she knows cloud has mixed memories from Zack, and those feelings would be Zacks feelings . She know that this Cloud is not really Cloud
And in the end when Jenova and Cait Sith get married and Sephiroth is a dentist and Cid is a psychotherapist, the image fades away and it's revealed that it was all just a baby chocobo's fever dream. Whew!
I'm also glad it's like wayyyy different, because it was never gonna be the same anyway :) Just fun to make jokes of, because "Remake" does imply quite the similarity, if not duplication even. Maybe it's tied down later in the coming releases, like "Remake" instead of "Reunion" or something like that. Who knows. Baby chocobo's fever dream remains my choice.
the whispers are trying their best to ensure the time line goes as planned. It's why they saved aerith from falling over in the church as she was supposed to fall when walking across the beams. Jessie was never supposed to be in the mission with barret and tifa, so they purposely injured her so Cloud had to take her place. this is happening constantly throughout the game (since Cloud never visited the avalanche headquarters via the game machine, it probably isn't the same timeline as the 1997 original) it's going to go Kingdom Hearts bonkers at this rate.
As someone who always thought FF7’s story was “aight” I’m here for it, as long as they keep the character writing solid I don’t care what happens to the story
I have a question though. Why didn't whispers ensure that Avalanche members die during Sector 7 collapse like it was in the original? Why did Wedge survive? Why did Biggs?
When different versions of characters from different timelines start meeting or merging with each other, youve got a real Kingdom Hearts level clusterfuck going on
@@domx7zero157 Zack is dead in the main timeline that you are in (controlling Cloud). But that Zack is a different timeline. You saw the whispers all over during Zack's fight, implying the whispers are changing history.
@Bboy Genetics the Whisperers are not changing history they are meant to keep history in check. And plus Zack didn’t notice the Whisperers because he never encountered Aerith around that time when was with Cloud. The OG Zack did actually defeat the army but was than gun down by a remaining few from behind. And remember this game is also something new to people who have never played the original. In the original we don’t learn about Zack’s death until Cloud gets his memories back. If they showed Zack’s death right than and there it would be even more confusing.
It kind of makes sense now. There is one part in FFVII Remake where Aerith warns Cloud not to fall in love with her, which doesn't seem to make sense on the surface, but it kind of implied that she _knew_ that she was going to die due to the Whispers sealing her fate. With the Whispers now defeated, anything is possible now and Aerith could stay alive.

its more going to have the effect of when is square going to actually release part 2 or are they just going to make the happy ending a book like they did with ff15

@@feartheoldblood I think the point Scire was trying to make is that in the game the whispers are trying to ensure the events of the original game and the joke being that the fans who wanted to see the original ending even after death are having to fight the current group of characters who want to go off rails.
Personally, realistically I would assume this new ending would be like a promotion for a crisis core remake, where the developers would provide us with 2 new endings.
I have a question and that is if those three whispers in the boss fight were the future version of cloud, Tifa and barret then whose fate did the huge whisper ressmeble was it aeriths fate.....?

Wade Williams yes. It creates at least one timeline where Cloud does not think that he’s a SOLDIER, is not Zack’s “living legacy”, is not found by Tifa at the train station, does not join Avalanche, does not meet Aerith who never uses Holy to defeat Meteor. Cloud is the only person who has the strength to defeat Sephiroth because of the experiments that Hojo performed on him AND his guilt over Zack. He has a level of inner strength and willpower that someone like Zack does not have. This is at least one universe in which Sephiroth wins. So the final part of the Remake will most likely be of Cloud and Co. going backwards to ensure that the original timeline is kept intact and that both Zack and Aerith die.
@@EatTheMarxists Yeah... but honestly I'm glad I get to play as zack again for a little while. I honestly think Square Enix did this to give us a chance to play as zack in the second episode... in the end though... zack will die or realize he has to die. Which will be the sad part of the next episode.
They allowed Biggs to survive despite a thousand tons of steel falling on his head. Makes me worried any character with a name is going to get kH3 level plot armour. Also, I’m bummed we probably won’t get to see Cloud drooling in a wheelchair.
It will happen because funny / memorable/ interesting things from the original will be kept. This is a clever way for Square-Enix to give fans the things they want, while also surprising them with new stuff. The only problem is the newcomers to the FF7 universe : those poor people won't understand a thing. But then it's doubly clever from Square-Enix because they think these poor souls will just buy the original game on the PSN just to make sense of all this crap. Hence more money to them.
I believe we will, until they announce something else. I imagine the future games will follow the same story beats and key locations of FF7 like Costa Del Sol, Cosmo Canyon, etc. but 1 or 2 things maybe changed up. Whether they're big or small I can't really say until the next game is released, Aerith may not die or someone else may take her place. It's hard to say what but I'm a little excited to succeed.
Theory and hope: the sequels will have choices and multiple endings. Meaning you can play canon events or new events i.e. prevent certain characters' fate. That's an idea that please fans that want the original storyline and those that want something new.
I agree, I think if they make it so you could still go down the original story for the sake of canon fans, that would be the best way to appeal to the widest audience honestly.
I think Aerith hesitated to fight destiny before she met cloud as she thought that she won't be able to make any difference. Now, realizing that Sephiroth is wrong - which ahe says in the game - She is fighting fate along with others instead of sitting this one out. And maybe they're fights with destiny will change Zack's destiny too...
@@ry2950 It's not a reboot. The events of ff7 take place. Some are changed and some are the same while others expand. That makes it a remake since events have been remade in places. If you know more of the spoilers, it shows why it's a remake. A reboot for example is the new Digimon. Starts off differently, the first major enemy is way different from the original anime and everything else to come will be different from what I've seen.
It's too soon for me to make a call on how I will feel about this remake as a whole. I wish Nomura would quit making convoluted stories in an effort to seem "deep" and keep his KH insertions out of everything he touches. That being said, other original creators involved with FF7 are on this project as well, so knowing that, I am hoping future installments will flush things out more to bring it all together. The original was confusing at first too, but tied things in nicely in the end. So I have hope for that here as well.
@James Tyler Aerith literally has to die in order for the white Materia to work Nomura is not going to take that away. This time travel nonsense is just a theory it has been confirmed.
The whole "7 seconds" this is pretty much Nomura in a nutshell... About "other FF7 creators in the proyect", Kitase is only producing, and Sakaguchi left Square a looooooooong time ago, this is Nomura and Nojima proyect.
@@jahhun676 It is confirmed in the very game, the game takes place after Advent Children...you need Nomura to literally tell you "yes, that was Sephiroth from the future"? Aerith wont die, we have absolute no idea how the story is going to play out, Aerith herself says they are not free from their destinies.
@Jose 84 So you trust a theory from IGN (who have been wrong before) than the words of the people who actually made the game? Plus this is just the first part so there is only two ways we get all get the answer we’re looking for. Either the directors respond to this in an interview or we just wait for the other parts and play to see where the plot plays out. I wouldn’t give all my money to IGN and say they are right.
Raynaldo Djajasaputra no I don’t think she will I personally believe the Zack scene where he survived was a what if the whispers hadn’t forced his destiny to die a what if if you will. Just because we see Zack alive at the end doesn’t mean he is alive in the main timeline we are playing. I think I’m the next few games the main timeline will mostly follow the original story like aerith dying BUT I believe we will see an alternate scene in a timeline where she survives
" 7 seconds " refers to the exact time that took Sephiroth to kill Aerith in the original FF7. The second he appears on the screen until the last exact second when his sword periced Aerith.
But there’s nothing Cloud could do about that. Makes more sense if he was referring to the reactions that could be made within the time period, if he knew what to look for, to save the girl. Is just a hint for something that can be altered, not impending doom.
Aerith was actively trying to stop the black material when she died. It makes zero sense for Sephiroth to encourage Cloud to _prevent_ that. Just because the drop took around seven seconds does NOT mean that’s what he’s referring to. (Edit: it’s not even seconds seconds btw. From when he appears to when he stabs hers is 6 seconds).
The reason why Aerith says that (especially right after sensing Zack from a different timelime passing by) is because it started raining, reminding her of the day that zack died. Rain never hits the slums other than the hole in the church that zack made with his fall.
To me this reshaped my understanding of the role Aerith plays. In a sense I assumed the whispers to be a sad incarnation of fans of the original. Aerith however shows us a love and care of the past that lives in the writers room. She misses the past, even while it held a terrible opressive technology. Even while and the new world is so much more open, free, and colorful. She looks at Cloud and sees someone from her past. Much like I do. In a way, it comforts me to see that this love for the original lives while creating the remake, and is honored by being incarnated in such an iconic chracter.
They’re not fighting their future selves, they are fighting the future advent children and the 7 seconds, it tells you in game in the story menu, sephiroth shows cloud 7 seconds before the end of the world.
zack's apperance was a flashback aerith saw and zack is going to die, they didnt show it cause its a massive spoiler, it's only a tease to create some mystery. "Who's that guy?! I gotta play the next one to understand!" The whispers do give some glances into future events (without context to not spoil for new players). Was it necessary? no. Does it mean we're gonna get multiple timelines and time travel and zack is alive? absolutely not, this is all speculation by some dumbass at IGN.

@Zalap Akashi Well, as a fan of the original game, I surely played Crisis Core or know who Zack is, but yeah, I guess there are those that played the original game and didnt care about anything else.
The magic of the original FF7 is that the story is grounded in a believable and relatable world. The themes and political implications are tangible. And actions have consequences. Character deaths carry weight. These Whispers of Fate undo all that: if the Whispers are guiding the characters, then the characters' own actions lose substance. And all this nonsensical implication about alternate timelines is just sickening and bad writing.
Andres Hernandez if you ask me my interpritation was : those ghosts are just a part of the earth .. and it wants everything to go as planned for example when they saved her from falling in the church scene . They stopped cloud , Aerith and Tifa from running away because they must face thier “planned” fate .. and I really hope that no changes happen to the story .. because I am afraid that an alternate ending would result in Aerith staying alive and sephiroth gets to kill someone else .. which would really bum me out
Casey Teague kh3 ruined the whole series for me. I hope this doesn’t do that either even though I went into it with it being a remake I had a open mind about it. I figured it wouldn’t follow the sequences exact.
Well. The story has definitely changed from the original. I’m a bit skeptical about it, but I’m gonna keep an open mind about it and see what part 2 is gonna be like. Though I do hope they don’t butcher this game like Kingdom Hearts with this time travel thing. The last thing I wanna do is fight a prototype of Nomura’s failed Versus 13 Noctis as a final Boss.
At 3:50 I don’t think those three whispers are Cloud, Tifa, and Barret. They reminded me of Kadaj, loz, and yazoo because their weapons are similar to them, and they also summon Bahamut like in Advent Children.
This seems really risky, like they want the best of both worlds having a reimagining of FF7 similar to a reboot, while also trying to be faithful to the same timeline/plot of the original. I hope it pays off and they have some great story arc we have yet to experience.
@Alopekis agreed. You don't want to show all your cards in the beginning, they're most likely setting up for something down the way as you've said. Definitely interested to see where this path leads
Time travel always ends up making a story convoluted and creates all sorts of paradoxes. Also, deaths and choices lose any depth of meaning because of their being no genuine consequence, e.g. major characters dies, but can come back due to time travel plot device. What bothered me was how Cloud and gang were practically powerful enough to take on Sephiroth like they did at the end of the original FF7. In the original, on the first encounter with Sephiroth, Cloud and gang are much weaker, and that made Sephiroth a threat you can genuinely appreciate.
You do know that sephiroth wasn't even trying in the final battle? SPOILERS He even says "not yet" to cloud and disarms him with ease as if to say you're not ready to fight me yet. Plus if I'm not mistaken this isn't the real sephiroth as it's a clone according to the original game, so it's already a weaker version of seph. I like that we have a fight with him already to show how strong he is and be excited for the true final battle. I'm just not a fan of the time travelling crap (if it is) and changing the fate of certain characters like biggs.
@@bungifish2227 I think that the way they show us sephiroth in the remake pales in comparison with the flashback in kalm from the original, i understand that many people already know who sephiroth is but the way he is introduced in the remake is very cheap in my opinion. @@domx7zero157 I'm not sure it's a flashback from the way the scene is represented, and the consensus is that he is alive in an alternate timeline. Not that he is alive in their time. And all the events in the old games, happens in a completely different timeline to the two mentioned. The one Sephiroth is trying to prevent from happening and the one the Whispers are trying to make happen. But because Cloud and the gang defeats the whispers, that timeline is totally gone, so anything from older games do not happen and we should expect new events. That's my take on it. Though honestly, this whole timeline nonsense is just silly sigh.
Introducing multiple timelines was a great idea. It gives the word "Remake" a whole new meaning than what it is. Let's just say the current FFVIIR timeline is where it truly begins.
Considering how many mostly faithful remakes there’s been in recent years, this is the only one I can remember that seems to have changed a lot from the original.
@@InfiniteGamesDenderotto RE2 and RE3 have been relatively faithful to the original. Minor differences here and there like how some characters died, but nothing that effected the story
I have a theory that FF7 Remake is actually a Sequel of FF7 OG, I’ll try to explain it as simple as I can. Remember the very first frame of FF7 OG opening right after the stars Scene?, it’s Aerith looking toward the leaking mako in a alleyway before proceeding to walk out into the Loveless street. This very short scene of Aerith looking towards the leaking mako is played again at the very end of the ending of FF7 OG. My theory is that Aerith at the very end of FF7 OG is the same Aerith from FF7 Remake, she went back in time through the lifestream, and in the Remake she’s trying to change the fate planned by the planet, thus why the appearance of the whisperers in the Remake. While she do that Sephiroth is also doing the same thing, he realizes he couldn’t beat cloud and change the future towards his liking, and thus why in the remake he plan to get Cloud into his side. Remember his Quote * I shall not end nor is shall let you end* during the fight at the floating wrecked buildings. At the end of creation Sephiroth tried to acquired Cloud alliance. Remember that the whisperer are beings that is capable of traveling through time and timelines and also interact with it if necessary. But they can’t really interact or disturb Sephiroth because of the Jenova cells that’s reside within him, basically the planet couldn’t really bother him because he’s not from the planet. Like Jenova. So the planet thought. Anyway that’s it from me, am kinda tired, it’s 8 AM here and I haven’t sleep.. I’m probably going to edit this comment as soon as i wake up. But let me know what you guys think.
I also got feeling that FF7 Remake is Sequel of FF7 OG. Reason FF7 OG Ending actually is a BAD END. Go check Og ending. You can see that Meteor going destroy the planet and Lifestream come out to stop the Meteor. Then result big light, which i presume explosion. The whole planet is destroy. Then suddenly show Aerith face which is a FF7 Remake intro. In this remake, Cloud and others are going to change the Bad end.
Christopher Gore I do, but with this, it might change the event that happened in Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus. If they decide to keep Aerith alive that is. If not, then what had happened in Ac and DoC might be left untouched.

One question. The whispers seemed to work fine until the harbinger was beaten. I mean they managed to revive Barret. But doesn't that also mean that the whispers should have killed Wedge and Biggs?
Because the Whispers were defeated, Wedge, Biggs and even Jessie all survive. Maybe they revived them, given in to the new Destiny's rulers upon defrat, or maybe fate itself was changed and they all survived.
Whispers working fine? They're supposed to keep the story on track, but appears when not needed and don't when they should. Nah... Whispers are lame af. Bad writing that uses ghosts as a deus ex machina for the changes they brought is lame.
Yeah, these new changes regarding fate will be super polarized. People will ether love them or hate them. Guess we will have to wait and see how far the writers go down Nomuras wild ride in the sequels.
Funny, cause I'm neither of those. And sure I can't be the only one. I don't really care. No real grudges against those potential changes, I would just like it better if the thing about destiny or something avoid involving time travel (poorly handled most of the time).
We won’t find out until the sequels (and I’m sure the current fan reception could still shape them). I really wanted a faithful remake to the original storyline, and all I can say is that this a very risky move. Hopefully they really do something creative with the story arc. The remake's ending showed that after what controlled fate where removed. Sephiroth can now win as fate no longer controls the outcome. @loafhero also written by Nojima who wrote original. Kinda makes sense though since Sephiroth is part of lifestream/gaia

When you realize "Remake" has a deeper meaning and not just a title to bring this treasure to present play.
I will not call this a "remake". Remakes is what REmake is to Resident Evil or SoTC ps4 is to SoTC ps2. For the first 95% of FF7R, it was a remake but then the last 5% turned it into a reimagining.

She did all of this in the original game
she warns cloud to not fall in love because she knows cloud has mixed memories from Zack, and those feelings would be Zacks feelings . She know that this Cloud is not really Cloud

the whispers are trying their best to ensure the time line goes as planned. It's why they saved aerith from falling over in the church as she was supposed to fall when walking across the beams. Jessie was never supposed to be in the mission with barret and tifa, so they purposely injured her so Cloud had to take her place. this is happening constantly throughout the game (since Cloud never visited the avalanche headquarters via the game machine, it probably isn't the same timeline as the 1997 original)
it's going to go Kingdom Hearts bonkers at this rate.
As someone who always thought FF7’s story was “aight” I’m here for it, as long as they keep the character writing solid I don’t care what happens to the story

Remake - as in Sephiroth is REMAKING the world and his destiny.
Agreed
Finally, someone else gets it. If zack survives.. it messes up everything. And sephiroth knows this.
Maybe Sephiroth saved him just to mess with destiny
It will happen because the cause of his coma is falling into lifestream.
Which hasn't happened yet
That actually would be awesome, like those Telltale's games :)

Reivun Rantington their are literally multiple timelines where the events of the original took place and we are in another timeline. It’s a reboot.

Even while and the new world is so much more open, free, and colorful. She looks at Cloud and sees someone from her past. Much like I do. I gotta play the next one to understand!" The whispers do give some glances into future events (without context to not spoil for new players). Was it necessary? no. @Zalap Akashi Well, as a fan of the original game, I surely played Crisis Core or know who Zack is, but yeah, I guess there are those that played the original game and didnt care about anything else.
Honestly, if I get to play Zack in part 2... my life is complete. Zack was always my favorite character
Makes no sense if he survives. The whole story probably doesn’t happen if Zack and Cloud arrive in Midgar together
I really with they dont use the style of KH in story telling .. so confusing up to a point where you stop caring
Donald Duck and Goofy gonna join the party in part 2.
Ikr
Andres Hernandez if you ask me my interpritation was : those ghosts are just a part of the earth .. and it wants everything to go as planned for example when they saved her from falling in the church scene . They stopped cloud , Aerith and Tifa from running away because they must face thier “planned” fate .. and I really hope that no changes happen to the story .. because I am afraid that an alternate ending would result in Aerith staying alive and sephiroth gets to kill someone else .. which would really bum me out
I had that with the 13 series. Got so confused I couldn't be bothered with it and gave up
Boy...FF7 is about to get the Kingdom Hearts treatment. No one is going to know what's going on from now on 😂.
Casey Teague lol
Casey Teague kh3 ruined the whole series for me. I hope this doesn’t do that either even though I went into it with it being a remake I had a open mind about it. I figured it wouldn’t follow the sequences exact.
I thought they knew not to do that anymore. *sigh*
I BET THIS REMAKE WILL CHANGE THE TIMELINE,BY TIME TRAVEL AFTER THEY ENTER THE PORTAL SEPHIROTH MADE
Tylor Robbins to be fair, the story was already ruined in the first place
Same
Ya same. I'm sick of all this time travel and time line stuff. I like small changes, but that was a bit to much imo
Part 2 will come out like in 5 years... Lol
FFXV needs a remake so does Noctis
Nomura has no weight in this story. Just the original. This is all Nojima.
At 3:50 I don’t think those three whispers are Cloud, Tifa, and Barret. They reminded me of Kadaj, loz, and yazoo because their weapons are similar to them, and they also summon Bahamut like in Advent Children.
I'm glad someone else made that connection.
Dude. You just blew my mind!
SPOILERS
He even says "not yet" to cloud and disarms him with ease as if to say you're not ready to fight me yet.
@@bungifish2227 I think that the way they show us sephiroth in the remake pales in comparison with the flashback in kalm from the original, i understand that many people already know who sephiroth is but the way he is introduced in the remake is very cheap in my opinion. there is no messing with timelines at all, I saw the whole ending and it never even crossed my mind

@@jadedandbitter lol hahahahaha
Always yelled "f***ing Nomura" when fighting with over the top boss fights
In this remake, Cloud and others are going to change the Bad end.
wtf is FF7 OG?

I gotta say, in the beginning, I was so upset with the ending after having loved the game so much till then. But now, having watched a lot of content and heard numerous theories, I gotta say I am looking forward to what is coming next! I hope they'll handle it well and carefully, as I am not 100% sure yet. I think the point of all of this is giving us longterm fans and new fans something to look forward to and discuss without knowing what will occur. Of course a lot of people also feel this doesnt fit with the world we are in for ffvii. That being said, I think the purpose of all this is for the cast to try and change fate but realize the outcomes they need will only result if the deaths of those they care for come. It's a fancy way of just ended with the same outcomes I think.
Honestly it's pretty obvious they are doing this to keep Aerith alive, or at least, let her join Zack in a different world as opposed to reunite post-death in the Lifestream.

When sephiroth invited cloud to change destiny together with him, it reminded me of Lwgacy of Kain, when Kain said something similar to Raziel
I want Soul reaver and LEGACY OF KAIN remake!!!!!
Yeah, these new changes regarding fate will be super polarized. People will ether love them or hate them.
Guess we will have to wait and see how far the writers go down Nomuras wild ride in the sequels.
Part and 3 are coming
I hate it.
I love it XD.
And keep in mind that the original writer for FF7, Kazushige Nojima, is still writing the remake too.
If it ends up being a full on reboot that changes or goes beyond the original ending, I’ll be pretty bummed.

I personally think this cliffhanger ending is brilliant and worth waiting for a sequel :D
The 3 whispers at the end of the game are not Barrent Tifa and Cloud, its Kadaj Loz and Yazoo, The red one has a sword that is not large like clouds its thin like the sword Kadaj uses, Yazoo has his duel pistols, and Loz has a giant glove similar to the weapon he uses in advent children. Their attacks are very similar to the attacks they use in Advent Children as well.
Edit: Yazoo did not have duel pistols sry it was a pistol with two barrels Edit 2: I should have phrased this better they don't "seem" to be Barrent CLoud and Tifa myb
they were just whispers as whispers. Not related to any characters at all.
When i watch the part where cloud fighting those three remnants in advent children well yeah it is them as whispers so this remake when they had to fight those three it means after defeat them they don't have to fight those remnants in the future they changed that future to different one when everyone is alive but idk where is wedge tho after he flew from the building is he the only one died? (yazoo he is using duel guns in Advent Children)
For plot considerations theyre just whispers... But theyre definitely a nod to kadaj gang. Even their colors reflect the "element" they possessed in an extra episode/game somwhere.
Yazoo does have two guns but Loz has the other one most of the time, when Cloud brakes one in the tunnel bike fight, he takes the other one from Loz
why would they include characters that don't exist yet?
The remake's ending showed that after what controlled fate where removed. Sephiroth can now win as fate no longer controls the outcome. However in turn the heroes (like Jessie for example) can now be saved. But there may be some dangerous new things brought into 7 now as restrictions have been lifted.
Although I'm just saying they should've given a different subtitle instead of "remake" as this is more or less a sequel with where it's going.
