All the action from the opening day of Thorpe Parks newest roller coaster Hyperia. I was lucky enough to get 2 rides on this incredible new coaster before the ride closed for a prolonged maintenance period the following day.

@@CoasterGiant1 We were waiting until it re-opened, are thinking about visiting on Sat 29th, staying in the Shark Cabins and spending Sunday morning in the park before heading home.

The queues weren't that bad for things with hyperia taking most of the attention - just wish i had better luck as every ride i went on except hyperia needed some kind of twenty minute maintenance the moment i got to the front / near the front of the queue

Thank you, I was actually ok, I just kept looking out rather than down, and the lift hill is so fast you’re falling towards the ground in no time 😂
