Hey, in the title, it says 'December 2025'. I think that's a typo as we're still 2024.

I personally think that Drayton has great potential to be a great park however I think they need to clean up some areas before investing into new ones, I think they should invest into making accelerator fit the new frontier falls theme as it isn't green like it used to be with apocalypse, they should make accelerator a runaway cart theme with a great story as frontier falls is probably many families favourite location as adventure cove has mostly intense rides.

Also I’ve been saying the same as you for a long time with the hole extra area in Vikings

I think that they could potentially use that massive indoor building in the pirate themed area and have a half indoor and outdoor rollercoaster that spins

Polyp’s are extremely high maintenance, both previously at Drayton were unreliable

We asked one of our friends that’s an operator of gold rush and he said it’s heavy maintenance, wish we did get a new ride though

Exciting times for Drayton Manor! I can see them add a Mack Spinning Coaster like Dwervelwind in Toverland. No inversion, sorry Matt! But I think it fits perfectly at Drayton Manor.

Been doing a few visits a year to Drayton since 2019 with the family. Every year it gets better. From a family perspective its fantastic. Fairly compact with lots of rides and a good variety. Another flat and relocation as you mentioned is a good move. After that I would like the pirate boat ride to reopen, utilise the lake somehow (maybe a large boat). Never that sure about the zoo. It's not the most pleasant to look around.

Matt, well spotted, i think you are right and that they have got plans for that area next to Vikings for the future. I agree with you that a polup ride would be ideal for the area where the Flying Dutchmen used to be, they did used to have one in that area it was the Sambrino ride and was Mexican themed. The other possibility i was thinking of was the same ride as what they have at Gullivers Milton Keynes which if you look on their website is a Cowboy Boot ride which is similar to the flying planes in Thomas Land. Those porcupines did used to be in the old goat enclosure at the back of the park. I think they are clearing the back area of the zoo for development and i think they will also get rid of the Emus, Rheas Capebaras at the back end of the park and either house them in other areas of the zoo or move them elsewhere. That area could provide a dinosaur area for them to fit in with the dino walk through they have. I saw another vlog and the old Thomas play area had been taped off, so i wonder if that play area is going to be re developed into a dino play area. They have loads of areas for expansion as well as the old Pirate ride and Excallibar ride which could be re developed or re opened. I think the future for this park is bright and i think it will be as good as Paultons Park by the time they have finished. I think they will put a shot tower back in the park at some point perhaps overlooking the lake a model like the one they have at Chessington and Paultons Park that spins as well, maybe they could put one in the Pirate area. I could see them having a fountain display on the lake as well and maybe even bringing in a transport boat to go round the lake and drop you off at the different areas. A ferris wheel next to the lake would also be good, they used to have a ferris ride and i think it has been missed sinse they took it out. Happy Christmas Matt. Have you noticed that on the top class of card passes they now allow you one entrance to Pleasurewood Hills. I wounder if Looping group are going to buy any of the rides from Flambards, they have a Frizbee ride for sale and they used to have one of those at Pleasurewood.

It’s a tricky one to try and work out where they’re gonna move it to, wouldn’t mind a Viking Battleship rebrand to get it put into that unused land

Would love to see a GCI on a scale similar to Troy at Toverland. In the future I can see them building completely around the lake!

I’m thinking a Dynamite Droptower something more thrilling than Crankys but not as thrilling as apocolaypse

I'd like to see something more thrilling than Gold Rush and a step up towards The Wave. There's a big gap between Gold Rush/Accelerator and Wave which there isn't a good progression towards Wave. I'd say either a spinning coaster, wild mouse style coaster or a wooden coaster would be perfect for that step up coaster. Looping Group have lately been investing in wooden rollercoaster models for a couple of their European parks opening in the next couple of years so it may not be a stretch to see a woodie at Drayton.

Why are you starting to show how you can sneak into the park. Is it that you want to say that more people must be sneaking in. Compare the prizes from all major theme parks, and the Efteling is one of the cheapest. Sorry but watching this blog gives me mixed feelings.

Just a small fun fact. The eyes of the ice dragon in Fenix used to lit up. Looks like it was broken when you where there.

Just a little funfact about the steam-carousel. It is the ¨Vermolen Boden Carousel¨ and it's the oldest oparational carousel in the world, it actually dates back to 1865 if i'm correct. (excuse my english it is not my first language)

Thanks for all the great content this year, great to see that they have a new animal where the tiger was, maned wolfs are facinating animals, they have them at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, that enclosure is far more suited for them than for a tiger.

BGCE is my number 1 currently. I absolutely LOVE this one!! The only big coasters in Europe that I haven’t been to yet: Zadra, Hyperion, Voltron and Taiga… and this one is still my favourite! December I’ll complete the list and will be able to tell if BGCE is my all-time favourite or not 😂
