FIRST EVER RIDE ON GOLD RUSH AT DRAYTON MANOR | New Roller Coaster | Preview Event Vlog | July 2024

- After 18 months of filming construction updates from the Drayton Manor Resort, the brand new Intamin lift and launch coaster is ready to open and the Resort kindly invited me to a press event to get my first ever ride just before Gold Rush officially opens to the public on Friday 26th July.
Drayton put on a massive event with live music, dancers, roaming actors, even real horses all in the build up to us getting on the coaster for the first time.
I got 2 rides, both on different cycles. My full thoughts are in the video.

@@KingRCT3 Hey, was great to meet you! The design of the coaster still blows my mind. Everyone was loving it on Friday when it opened! Did you get the other cycle and your front and back row rides?
@@CoasterGiant1 I've still to come back for my front and back rides, but I've managed to get four laps on it and get both cycles. And I really agree there: they feel SOOO different! Yet I don't think you feel frustrated if you get only one cycle out of the two. I think we acheived a right balance there.

Wow, what a brilliant area much better than mini figure speedway which looks unfinished and iperia which has just got a stagnant pond underneath it.

Gold Rush has 2 different cycles, so a different experience.. will we count Gold Rush as 1 or 2 new creds. Same track, different experience.
