  • Josh goes through the features of the very popular Cub Cadet XZ5 zero turn ride on mower. And also demonstrates it's cutting capabilities in our demo garden.
The latest steering lever lap bar technology combined with the extremely robust construction of heavy-duty components and high-performance Kawasaki engine makes the XZ5 L127 the ideal professional machine for large lawn maintenance.
The 127cm / 50″ cutting deck will easily mow an area of 11,500 m²h. The open frame design allows quick and easy access to the deck and engine for ease of maintenance. With exceptionally low vibration, individually adjustable comfort seats and soft grips - owner/operator comfort is at the forefront of the XZ5 L127.

Hi & thanks for the video. I have a question, does the semi-professional series have a stronger drive system, deck drive system than the domestic models? I note it does have a fabricated deck instead of a pressed deck, is that the only difference from a 'robustness' perspective? I've had an RZT 46S for 8 years & it is starting to let me down with deck levelling, pulleys & mounts, just wondering if the extra investment will give added strength in these areas?
    Thanks!

Hi Tony, these are very strong machines. They are a machine we would be happy to sell to a gardener or landscaper where they are the owner driver whereas we wouldn’t sell them to a commercial user where they have multiple users, as these always tend to get trashed, here we would advise the XZ7 range and above. So what I’m getting at is yes they have a much stronger build all round compared to the domestic 46S. I hope this helps, more than happy to take a call next week to discuss your options.
      Cheers,
      James
