    @oxford821 Thank you, sir for the video. I'm an ole country boy raised on a small farm in west Tennessee. My dad taught me plenty by the time I was 14, I was driving tractors, lawnmowers, running chainsaws etc. So, I don't understand why other's are so sensitive and uptight. Keep up the good work and please keep those vids coming!

      I have the ZT1 50 also, love the thing built like a tank for a residential mower, and a decent power output Kawasaki engine as well. Be sure to use the Kawasaki oil and filters at least through warranty period. They have a dye to detect wrong maintenance.... and that is a over $1500 engine by itself

    • @TheTTVert
      @TheTTVert 4 года назад

    • @timm.6391
      @timm.6391 4 года назад

      @@TheTTVert I stated that based on a friend who has a lawn business, a partner of his had Kawasaki claim denied for not using the Kawasaki oil with zinc in it. These engines have to have a zinc additive package to keep the bearing wear within spec. And he was informed then of the dye in their oil. Maybe others have been able to fight it. But it's not that costly to use their product. And I actually change my oil 50 hours earlier than the maintenance schedule says. Runs about 20 to 25 bucks for filter and oil of their brand. So, just for peace of mind, not a extreme cost.

    I know you no longer have the cub,but I'm thinkin that if I had one I'd take an angle grinder and cut off that lower piece of metal at the chute opening. It impedes the flow of air and clippings to much. A clean cut requires sharp blades and good airflow to aid in lifting the grass up to be cut. You can still get a good cut like it is but youd have to slow down alot and possibly double cut,which destroys the point of having a zero turn. John deere,toro,areins,they all have similar blades and deck designs, but have much larger free flowing openings than mtd/cub cadets.

    I expect this mower will last several seasons with decent care. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend Also, I ran across the problem with it not starting the 2nd time I used it. There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.

      Jay Hall I just went to customer service at the store. They had one sitting there but I told them I want a new one in the crate. The person behind the counter ordered it for me on their computer with the discount (I showed my VA card) I had to wait a little over a week for it to come in. Wasn’t a problem at all. Maybe certain stores don’t have it as a “stock” item so they can’t order it for you. Try a different Home Depot

    On 4/30/19 I purchased a ZT1 60" mower for $3400 at Home Depot. It broke after 3 hours of use. The hydraulic drives on these Cub Cadets have known issues. It has been in an authorized repair center for 6 weeks now. The repair shop estimates it will be another 4 weeks before I get it back. I urge everyone to not buy Cub Cadet. Their customer service has been HORRIBLE. My next mower will be a Kubota.

      There’s no such mower as a ZT1 60”, you can only get a 60” with the ZT2...and you can’t get it for $3400 at Home Depot.

    Makes me cringe to see people put children on mowers. Look into the all the accidents that people have without kids let alone with kids. You can not be 100% focused on mowing and your child at the same time...RUclips should ban this.
