I recommend you use ventoy instead of rufus or balena, it lets you have as many isos as you can shove into the usb drive without having to extract anything and pick from any of them and you can use grub themes to make it look pretty. In mine I have ubuntu, arch, a partition management software with a gui that shall remain anonymous, windows 11 and 10, and a couple other tools I can't recall at the moment.

@@stupidgeek Rufus is goated, literally the only thing I miss from Windows. Linux just flat out does not have a viable alternative with all of the options Rufus comes with. I _really_ wish we had a native port... Anyway, Ventoy is cool and Balena Etcher is super simple to work with and is available as an AppImage, but sometimes these GUI image writers cause problems. If you want things to be copied exactly, you'll need to use the 'dd' command to copy the disk images bit by bit.
Not sure what all of these various image writers do differently, but they're not just copying an image to disk. I've had failed boots from using something like a half dozen different graphical applications all writing the exact same image, but the one written with 'dd' worked flawlessly. These programs are still useful, don't get me wrong, but if you have trouble booting or loading into a system then be sure to try 'dd' before blaming the image.

@@HowToLinux you don't really need to know what is a partition or so on. Arch wiki install is a step guide, you just follow the steps. It tells you that most of the time you'd like 3 partition setup, what size they should be and how to format them properly. Not to mention archwiki actually covers these topics most of the time, i.e you got a dedicated page for partitioning like what's a partition table, differences about gpt and mbr etc.
