A good, basic description of the process without getting too deep into the woods. I think some people tend to overthink the process and get bogged down in the details. Best way to learn roasting is to roast.
Agree with that! Sometimes we just get sooo deep into the research and preparation that we psyche ourselves out. When in reality, we just need to give it a whirl and experience it first hand!
I was pretty nervous before starting but I think unless someone is VERY picky about only drinking very light or very dark roasted coffees, even the roasts that don't quite go as planned will result in drinkable and enjoyable coffee. Of course, I am not very picky in general, so maybe that's just me.
@@danhester4408 You're totally correct on that, Dan. Even a botched roast is pleasantly drinkable. I've never had to throw out a roast and hate to waste beans.
