M6 arrives in a few days, used a modified Behmore + for the last 6-years: Ran hundreds of pounds through the Behmore. Really looking forward to playing with Artisan and trying some high end seeds. Getting quite an upgrade, hardware & software. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for this wonderful video!!! Just a question: I am new using the kaleido Sniper M10, I tried to raise the temperature to 100 but it turned off dueto the electric protection of my house. my entire basement was left in the dark. then I raised the temp little by little but when it reached 60 it was again in the dark. what am i doing wrong?
I'm currently home roasting manually with a Fresh Roast air roaster. Been at it for over a year and am frustrated with how touchy a roast can be. Strongly considering a Kaleido M1 with Artisan. But my question is this: Does Artisan actually control the roaster, taking most of the fine-tuning off of me?
You can roast 2 different ways, with some hybrid methods in there as well. You can use a profile which you either develop or save and then repeat. People expect magic, it still requires some user input and tweaking. Alternatively a lot of people will have it follow a profile for most of the roast, and then finish manually. Lastly you can do a full manual roast either with or without a background to follow. It will be a bigger learning curve than the Fresh Roast.
@@kaleidoroasters Are you aware of Kaleido S10 profiles already developed we can download to use as a starting-point rather than creating them from scratch? Thanks! 😃
This video got me up and running with Artisan and my Kaleido. Thank you.
I didnt know Seth Rogen was into coffee roasting, props to him for taking the time to do these videos, thanks!

You might need a larger breaker, 20A is recommended, dedicated receptacle.
@@kaleidoroasters I just went ahead and had a dedicated 30 amp connection installed.
I just started using the M10, myself. Are you a member of any user groups?
Thank you for this interessing video. Please somone can you tell me what does : ET and BT and BT -1.4 mean?
Now that Kaleido is supported from with the program do you still need the set-up files?
Artisan has not 100% Officially adopted Kaleido. It works for most roasters but a few you need to make a few changes in order for it to work.
@@kaleidoroasters I actually did manage to get mine working without any additional set-up files. Went very smooth.

Sorry, don't have any experience with that.
Isn’t ET = Environment temp?
interchangeably called exhaust temp or environmental temp. Kaleido is environmental temp
i think you are colorblind cause that is blue not brown 7:45
