Fighting inside of Buu's body was extra hard with Vegeta for some reason, it's like the AI dificulty went up for HIM specifically-- Wait, wrong video...
Oh boy, those Sentinel Labs were downright eerie to traverse through. When you're making Sentinels combined with humans, yeah, your work station's definitely going to be bloody and filled with leftover bodies on tables. Rather surprising how much they could get away with in a T-rated game, but just as it was, it worked. Almost surprised Wolverine never had any dialogue regarding this area regarding what would perhaps be the worst case of deja-vu you can get. Seeing what happened to him... people turned into weapons... on a larger scale.
@@GothicXlightning My guess would be 1 was less saturated, so the color palate and tone of the first just felt darker. 2 was much more colorful so I guess it just didn't feel as dark?
@@ericbarber7609If I might wager a guess, I believe it has less to do with the color palate and more so to do with the general story and events. Legends 2 had a much more centralized threat with Apocalypse being the focus throughout and nearly all enemies faced were either his own forces or those aligned with him. Legends 1 had its events in motion by two groups that opposed each other and the X-Men: anti-mutants forces and the Brotherhood of Mutants. What is at stake throughout is Xavier's dream of human and mutant co-existence, and when Xavier is taken off the board nearly halfway through, the X-Men and, in effect, the player are left to continue without his guidance against ever expanding threats to that dream by both forces. Magneto goes for his most drastic play yet by covering the Earth in asteroids, leaving Earth to freeze unless his demands are met. And what Kincaid and company have done and planned had gone on well before Magneto did this: Not only are the mutant hunting Sentinels back on the table, but GRSO has had mutants abducted and taken to both the remains of Weapon X and the Sentinel Labs. New human hybrid Sentinels are designed and in the Sentinel Labs, not only are leftover bodies and blood found where they were constructed, but as revealed by the first mutant you free, they were brought as test subjects for the new Sentinel's capabilities and thus far, the Sentinels had won each time. To top it off, General Kincaid, the mastermind behind nearly everything including even Xavier's departure and possibly even Magneto's escape, has one simple endgame through bringing Asteroid M down onto New York, as said in his words: "Humans will blame mutants and eradicate them from the face of the Earth." Throughout, Kincaid tried making his case that mutants were dangerous and had to be stopped to protect humanity, and here he is in that moment prepared to cause death to untold innocents, essentially most being the humans he, GRSO, the Sentinels, and Operation: Vigilance were supposedly protecting, just to pin it on mutant kind. I wouldn't try to undersell "If we don't win, Apocalypse will rule the world" in regards to stakes, but for X-Men Legends 1, the threat of Xavier's dream coming to a bad end stuck more so, at least in my opinion. Edit: Just occured to me X-Men Legends 1's soundtrack also helped reinforce the mood and atmosphere as well.
So many memories playing this game!..it used to be cool how you can play with all the villains when you unlock them ,I hope they remake it for the new consoles one day
THIS SOUNDTRACK!! MY GOD THE MEMORIES ONE OF MY FAVORITE SOUNDTRACKS IN THE WHOLE GAME, THE AVALANCHE BOSS BATTLE, AND THE 2ND TRIP TO THE MORLOCK TUNNEL WHEN YOU FIGHT THEIR BOSS THAT GUITAR THEME WAS EPIC
this is one of those truly deep ones in the track that always tears me inside for some strange unknown reason? a lot like the theme of the astral planes, it just has the sense of uncertain future and end of times it just suits perfectly the soul of X-men and this marvelous beautiful game
Hearing this brings back so much good memories! Best track and best rpg game ever made . The only reason I want a ps2 again just to play this game . I like how when you are playin this game it makes you feel as if it’s a movie 🍿
I miss playing this game so much Time to get me another ps2 again .... since PlayStation can’t remaster this hit classic that basically started marvel rpg games such as ultimate alliance
This also plays in the interior levels of the USS Arbiter, with the exception of during the mission of saving the sailors. I only noticed it last time I played this.
This is ALMOST everyone's fave' theme in the game. My #1 is actually the 1-time theme that played right before it: Sentinel Factory (quiet) :) this track is quite good but I actually prefer about 4-5 tracks over it, by a slight margin lol.
@arodarrow I was hoping that this, and the subsequent track (128), were the ones being requested. Otherwise, I was afraid that I would not have the oft-requested tracks.
Buu absorbed the music
This comment is underrated on so many levels 👏 🤣
You freed the warriors I worked so hard to absorb!

chucknorrisismypal fuck the hybrids man
Right I was looking at the scenery in that place definitely bad place blood everywhere etc
It's easily my favorite mission, i love the eerieness and horror aspect of it.
Buu.....why did you lie to me?
Yes they did. Which game was it budakai or tenkaiechi.
@@kingj521 budokai 3
I love how smooth and peaceful the song is.
i love this soundtrack too
It’s my favorite, but it also has a mysterious or chilly feel to it too 🥶🥰
Powerfull Man From The Darkness...
Xmen legends 1 was so much more ominous then the second one
Nose Bleed I swear 💯
i don't know, i would say that BOTH were equally Ominous

@Joe pasceri their is something about this game............ even though it’s extremely old, it still hold up in my eyes. Yes they need to remake it
They really need to remaster this game
Rerelease it or something.
Good thing my ps2 slim still works
With every great power comes great responsibility, Alison.
Love this tune! Kinda reminds of my battle with Kid Buu!
Because they sampled it for a stage
dbzb3 I remember noticing this as a kid and thought I was trippn lol
same here lol
+Kool Aid lol
T SMACKS saame
Okay so I wasn't the only one thinking this as a kid!
@@Bigp1077 lol nope. I knew the moment i heard it
This song makes me sad. Reminds me of the old days of marvel, before Disney
This still gives me chills

THIS SOUNDTRACK!! MY GOD THE MEMORIES ONE OF MY FAVORITE SOUNDTRACKS IN THE WHOLE GAME, THE AVALANCHE BOSS BATTLE, AND THE 2ND TRIP TO THE MORLOCK TUNNEL WHEN YOU FIGHT THEIR BOSS THAT GUITAR THEME WAS EPIC
Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 brought me here. :P
They stole it!
I always said when I was younger that this theme sounded like when you're inside Buu. Now I know why.
this is one of those truly deep ones in the track that always tears me inside for some strange unknown reason?

2021 still playing this game😁
Still playing the absolute god damn out of both Legends and always will
Infinite times better than all MUA combined
I miss playing this game so much
Time to get me another ps2 again .... since PlayStation can’t remaster this hit classic that basically started marvel rpg games such as ultimate alliance
The first time seeing blood and aftermaths of human experiments in this game truly was something liek damn
This also plays in the interior levels of the USS Arbiter, with the exception of during the mission of saving the sailors. I only noticed it last time I played this.
Yes correct. I recognise this track more from the USS Arbiter one than the Sentinel Lab.
True
This one was always my favorite. I used to hum to it and even hum it when I wasn't playing the game. This and the action one.
Very cool, as a kid this use to give me shivers whenever I was in the sentinel laboratory
I remember, once the bad guys were cleared, chilling out and exploring the level just to Zen out to this music.
This is ALMOST everyone's fave' theme in the game. My #1 is actually the 1-time theme that played right before it: Sentinel Factory (quiet) :) this track is quite good but I actually prefer about 4-5 tracks over it, by a slight margin lol.
OMFG i played yesterday X-MEN legedns fo the thousands time and i noticed that this OST is amazinf durning the game, i was searching and i found it!
This is so haunting and beautiful
One of the best on this epic OST list
Such beautiful game
Both X MEN LEGENDS games that is
Perfect background music for all the coronavirus news
Playing through this game for the first time in 2022. Amazing game.
Amazing atmosphere!
man this brings back memories, memories of young heroes forging through a factory dedicated to hate and fear
This melody also appeared on intros for Anderson Cooper 360, of all places.
That's crazy! I'd love to find a clip of that if I could
Damn it yamamota you stole this shit too
i always think this track should be used in dramatic coma scenes
1:10 is where it basically I guess *could* be stolen. BUT! Might be some proof that it wasn’t stolen, I can elaborate if anyone is interested..
@GoopLoopScoop this one the and the astral plane are my FAV... we need X-men legends 3!!
Yes!!! i was waiting on this :D and now for the action version thx a bunch!!!!!!
Man I still love it no doubt!
The 1 dislike is from a sentinel that didnt 1 shot u
That bio sentinels is a hard level, i have visions of blood and body parts murdered around
Always was my favorite w__w
I love x men legends. But for some reason, this song gives me some metroid prime vibes.
its a calm tune/ i like it. well done ;)
thats by far the best tack from the game
Inside Buu? Wow, sounds so similar.
still prefer the ripoff
And that's fine.
use this for X-Men First Class 2 or for all the X-Men movies
Sounds like inside buu piano cover.
+Yuuki Terumi
Yeah, and he ripped off a bunch of other artist's songs too.
Adore this Ost
Specially this track and its follow up with electric riff is such crucial memorable moment for the Belmont X
@arodarrow I was hoping that this, and the subsequent track (128), were the ones being requested. Otherwise, I was afraid that I would not have the oft-requested tracks.
THIS DEFF SOUNDS LIKE INSIDE BUU THO
Awesome! Next up, the best song from the soundtrack!
Yeah I was waiting for this one too.
@noshed20 No problem. I'll try and upload the action version tomorrow or the next day.
Buu brought me here
This theme has a Second Sight vibe.
Fav song from the game, action is second.
"I remember first hearing this" I have played Budokai 3 first. Sorry for the confusion dude :)
ah that comment made me shiver a bit.
Sounds a lot like the Budokai 3 Track "Inside Buu" I wonder if it's the same composer
No Kenji yamamoto was fired for stealing a shit ton of music this included
This theme looks like "Inside Buu" theme in Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3!
2018 anyone?
So which one came first, Xmen or DBZ budokai 3 ? I dont remember
Inside Sentinel Lab haha
Guy below me it's the other way around
... is this Powerful Man From Darkness by Kenji Yamamoto? What the fuck?
Other way around. Dude plagiarized a bunch of songs, including this (the Action version most likely) to make Powerful Man From the Darkness.
2018
DRAGON BALL Z!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember playing this game and hearing this and saying "WTF THIS RIPPED OF THE DBZ 'inside buu' THEME!!!!!!!''
I used to be a musician. Dumbass this came out way before budokai 3
The BDZ composer composer rip this off lol, he even got sued for copy others game soundtracks as well
Dumbfuck
@@falcolombardi6570 he knows that dumbass he thought this was the original at first
dbz budokai 3(original) Buu's stomach
Ashton Brown this came first, actually.
@@thespectacularspider-bi1787 that composer just copy this song, he even got sued cuz he copy others game soundtracks as well

No, it's from X-men legends.
That's BDZ composer got sued for rip off many others soundtracks tho
dbz budokai 3(original) Buu's stomach
Powerful Man In the Darkness, is the name of the theme.
