From 50 million Elephants ( pre the Industrial age ) to 400 k today. I'd say the odds look terrible for these youngsters, you have Wagner, the Chinese mob and European and American traders + corruption in the anti poaching ranks. The wildlife is as good as dead, only the Army can save it.
At the end it felt like the begining of The Lion King "in this land you protect all animals" ... deep respect to all who risk their lives to ensure safety of animals in the wild, poachers and people paying them are cold blooded killers.
