There are a lot of options when it comes to striking down enemies, but with a little help you'll be well on your way to taking over England. Comparing Gae Bolg to other weapons is just humiliating. No weapon in the game comes close.
Spears are the highest DPS weapons in the current meta and Gae Bolg is the highest DPS spear in the current meta....#1....RANKED!
Playing through this DLC now. I will definitely look into this spear. Looking for new weapons to use.

I'm there with you. Once I got this set I haven't found another set that benefits me the same. I've found it to be really good. I forget to use special abilities so anything that boosts standard stats is best for me. I'll sneak when I can but if I'm spotted then it's open season.
I'm still running around with brigandine, and housecarl/varins combo. Still works amazing.
Since it dropped I've used the Druidic Armour with the Gae Bolg/Gungnir spear set up. My build was God-Mode before when used in conjunction with the Brigandine Armour/Gae Bolg/Gungnir set up. But now with the Druidic Armour set alongside these spears and including the new hardest difficulty settings, I'm still pretty much invincible and kill everything quickly with ease due to speed runes on the spears. You may want to re-think that rating for the Druidic Armour because there is no way it's C-tier. Hitting three hits on one enemy to get constant heals is so quick and easy with the fastest and most OP weapons in the game. For a non-store set, it's OP and definitely an S-tier set when used with these spears and the correct runes. The Druidic alongside the Brigandine are the two best sets in the entire game.

I like using the druid set, the one that heals with 3 hits (2) and Gothic (2) for heal on kills.
holy sheeet, same here bro, even on hardest difficulty with this armour combo and gae bolg + leo spear/brits sheild , the game is like on easy.
I personally think the druids set needs more love I used this and the einherjar set against ballor and I have to say that health increase saved my Hide and I went to jotunheim to face steinbjorn same thing didn't die killed it on one try.

I've been rockin the gothic/isu never need health with my perks and totally stomp er body. I'm high level now but cant find anything that compares. To more stealth damage, more damage in conflict,restore health after a kill. And it looks sick!

i dont understand defensive sets in Valhalla, i play the game on drengr and dying isnt really a problem. I figured iberian would be S tier.
I've noticed if he used the two-piece critical armor and a two-piece critical damage along with the critical sword you almost one shot everything so that's a pretty good set
They had sets in Assassins creed odyssey, the only trouble was , was the cost of upgrading them to match your level. If these sets are based similar to the odyssey sets in cost in upgrading, I do not think I will be interested. Great video
could you make a new video where you Rate all combined armors and melee Weapons with all the added stuff a full overvieuw would be amazing
The thing I dislike about poison fighting is the stupid cloud is so think that it even blinds yourself.
Combining Druidic and Taranis set will heal you for every individual punch because thunder punches are also AOE and stager enemies every hit. You can also punch shields and still deal damage. Each punch is around 50 dmg. The game becomes a punching meme simulator. Op if you ask me.
Was wondering why he didnt mention the Taranis set. It's by far the strongest set we have in the game. It's fun to play with but it does make the game to easy.

You forgot the tanaris set? Probaly because it's god tier and makes the whole game way to easy. You will even hit through enemies for full damage that are blocking.

If you were to combine the 2 set bonuses for the rus and Iberian armour with fafnir's fang and the fyrd spear wouldn't it be powerful asf
I personally would rank the mystical set higher because the actual set bonus triggers after 10 consecutive hits but they don’t have to be on the same enemy. So just equip two knives and using the poison strike will work really well and in no time every enemy around will be coughing and dying to the poison
I could get behind this idea. I think the main thing is that all of the poison abilities are still going to get you more mileage than the actual effect. Even with super fast weapons you may not see the set bonus organically fitting into the combat. Worth checking out though.

What do you think about taranis's armor
If I may, I would like to hear your opinion on the Fallen Hero set. Personally I think it's good for when your fighting a decently large group of enemies and it looks good, personal opinion. I know it's not part of the Wraith of the Druids dlc but if it were ranked it could be an A or B tier set of armour
The fallen hero set is easily an A. Paired with Leo’s spear you get some insane buffs to your stats.
But, Thegn’s set with the sick king’s crown is still the best set, you still stack more damage with that set.. It’s my “oh shit” set I switch to for boss fights or any other tough situation.. The critical damage you stack with every parry is crucial. No having to build it up or anything you just get +20 critical damage from a single parry and it lasts a long time. Paired with a weapon like the Carolingian sword that adds even more critical damage, it wrecks shit. I run the thegn set & dual greatswords. Excalibur & the Carolingian sword together slays. You do an absolute shit ton of damage. Put critical chance & elite damage runes on them both and you’re set.
My OP God-Mode Druidic build :
Cape - 3 x 3.3 Heavy Resistance Runes.
Chest - Increase Speed when surrounded by more than 2 enemies Weapon Rune, 2 x 3.3 Light Resistance Runes.
Helmet/Bracers/Pants - 18.9 Health, 5.0 Armour, 3.5 Melee Resistance Runes.
Viper Bow - Restore a low amount of Health for each Critical Hit Weapon Rune, 2 x 1.7 Speed Runes.
Gae Bolg (Right Hand) - Increase Speed after each hit (up to 10 times) Weapon Rune, 2 x 1.7 Speed Runes.
Gungnir (Left Hand) - Increase Attack after each hit (up to 10 times) Weapon Rune. 2 x 1.7 Speed Runes.
Everything in this build is Mythical and maxed out and I'm max level cap/skill/mastery capped.
Personally, I think the Rus set is perfect for my Bear alignment playthrough. Beefy tank that hits like a truck
problem with the gothic set is if your fighting a boss there are no other enemies to kill making it's health of kill useless yet the druidic set nets you health as you fight and attack buff and i prefer flat bones over peck effects you don't have to play a certain way to get a benefit you can just play as you like and i have never been a fan of using shields it's called Assassin's Creed not shields Creed

I also really wish the DLC had a higher power suggested, and were a little more difficult. Hopefully, Siege of Paris blows our minds, and desyncs us a few times 🤣

I haven’t played them all to be honest, but I was actually a big fan of 3. I really enjoyed the colonial vibe
So far I actually think Odyssey did a lot thing way better as Valhalla did which is a shame. Never understood why Ubisoft makes great steps forward then the next game disband those great steps they made. The looting system and character/gear customization, the bounty hunter system where all great things that kept the game from being to quickly repetitive. You could easily swap between different builds and try something new. They should've kept all that and also the cool arena's from Origins.
@@OnlineHipHopTV I really agree, just the general feel of the game feels just.. clunkier to me. I don't feel like I'm progressing even though I am, I do not get the main objective at all, I'm just doing missions to do them. Also the new mechanics are really not that good, like the raiding, or the settlement building, the abilities and skill tree, the longboat which if you let it follow the river automatically it beaches itself constantly, compared to the amazing experience in Odyssey of open water and huge ship fights. I haven't tried Origins yet but I'll probably finish this one (or drop it) and will.
@@ilaybm I hear that people find Valhalla clunkier very often and I do feel the same way. Even running and climbing feels less smooth overall. I also agree on the missions. It's hard to get attached to the story and most characters are very generic. The raiding could've been good. It already would've been an improvement if every raidable settlement had a unique boss with its own mechanics just so that not every raid would feel completely the same. After a couple of raids it get boring. I think Odyssey just gave the player so much freedom that for me it's hard to go back to a more restricted version of the game. It's a shame though because I really like the Viking era. Origins is also suprinsgly good. I just restarted it a week ago and forgot that it was actually a good game. Combat is actually a bit more challenging which is good. I still think Valhalla is a good game though but it not an improvement of the previous game which I hoped it to be.

In the last armor tier list, you placed one of the sets in the lowest tear and you were complaining a lot about the bonus during night time.
Now in this video, with the egyptian set, you say that you just need to watch the clock to get the buffs.
I know that the bonus from each set is different, but you sounded really annoyed about the time of the day in the first tier list now...you are calm. So...which one is it in that regard?
We need chariots in assassins creed Valhalla just like in ac origins.

But the new river raid armor
I have to disagree with the Druidic placement, though admittedly I only have one build for it right now. When using two flails, with two speed runes on each, the light attack combo hits the enemy a crazy amount of times. I'm talking upwards of 10 times a second (depending on the enemy's health of course, they die pretty fast), which results in about 11% health restored every second. Pair this with the Viper Bow with a Curative Perfection rune (restores health on crit, for those unaware) and we're talking over 20% of your health restored every second on top of annihilating whoever's in front of you. It's perhaps not as versatile and all-around as some of these other armor sets, but I do think it's better than a C.
Try out full Druidic Set with the Brigandine (Increase Speed when surrounded by more than 2 enemies) or Thegn Rune (Increase to Speed after parrying) slotted, Viper Bow with Stalwart Perfection Rune (Increase Critical Damage when close to Full Health) and 2 Critical Damage Runes, Gae Bolg in Mainhand with Stalwart Swiftness Rune (Increase Speed when close to Full Health) and 2 Speed Runes and Fyrd Spear in Offhand with Curative Perfection Rune (Restore a low amount of Health for each Critical Hit) and also 2 Speed Runes.
Niflheim set still superior with those nutty crit dmg
haha, "if you are a defensive player and don`t land too many hits..." so, basically, "if you are a moron" haha :) love it!
Druidic literally one of the best sets and Ghotic armor is useless against most bosses since it's on kill only. Regular enemies are so easy so you can just use any set. Meaning Ghotic set is the actual C tier and Druidic set is S tier.

What about the Taranis set? You made a video talking about it, but never gave it a tier.
Very niche but I think it’s A tier if you are good at dodging and chaining light combos with fist attacks
@@Just_Lucky24 It's the best set by far. The damage is insane. Probaly the highest dps plus the attacks do AoE damage and go through blocks. It's really overpowered and far above any other sets. You will cut though enemies like butter. You run it unarmed so you don't even have to upgrade and put runes in and it still out shines most other builts. Mentor crit built with knives comes the closest in terms of dps but is still behind.
@@Just_Lucky24 Also...try it while your fists are on fire/poison and see some AoE burn damage and helath regen with the right skill.

Gothic and Tanaris we did individual videos on. Gothic is really solid if you're prone to taking damage and fighting groups of enemies.
Tanaris is niche at best and definitely not worth spending money on.
@@LegacyGamingUS I see now, thanks for letting me know. I would not underestimate the potential of the Taranis set, especially when you go unarmed and apply poison/fire on top of the lightning punches and the set is easily the most unique out of the whole helix store
@@Madness74747 my only problem with the taranis set is that you're missing 2 weapons and 6 runes to get the full potential out of it. Its sweet in fist fighting instances, but I wouldn't siege a city with it. Not for me anyways. But its still really cool looking 🤣
@@isaacdymond7712 i sieged a castle or two with it since the runes don't even matter that much in Valhalla compared to engravings in Odyssey

This game is TOO EASY to really worry about armor talents. It really comes down to immersion amd whether or not you like the look of the armor.
