I'm 82 now and still feel Raised up into His Presence as I did those many years ago. The truth is my husband and I still play the album almost every morning when we wake up. We e ven managed to get them to sign our album several years ago when they were here in Florida. God bless them!! Jan McCarthy

I came here from Alisa Childersʼ podcast upon learning that Chuck Girard was her dad and this just amazed me even more. The song was pure doxology and it is edifying to the soul.
Thank you for using your talent to glorify the Lord, Mr. Girard. It was a pleasure to know about you.
God bless you and to God be the glory!

I listened to love song after I got saved . They were my favorite Jesus movement band . I lost their albums while moving and am so glad to have found them on here . Hearing them again brings back a flood of happy memories of the seventies and being a new Christian and having such beautiful uplifting music such as Love Song. Thank you for your God filled music . You are such an inspiration to me still . Love your band and may God richly bless you all

Love Song was basically associated with Calvary Chapel, no? What is your take of the Brian Brodersen induced Calvary Chapel split?

Most songs take a few listens to become appreciated as a favorite. There are two songs though that were instant favorites for me the very first time I heard them. Elijah by Rich Mullins and The Name Above All Names by Chuck Girard.
Still remember were I was when I heard this song for the very first time. I was driving home from work in my 1977 Chevy pickup with the AM radio on. Even with the lowly factory AM radio and dash mounted speaker it was an instant favorite. It is so good that not even the poor equipment couldn't spoil it.

Yes I like both those songs too, as well as Sometimes by Step by Rich also. Keith Green songs like There is a redeemer, When I hear the praises start, O Lord you are beautiful and Make my life a prayer to you are also instant favs of mine. Hillsong, What a beautiful name it is also hit me instantly.

@@michaelnewzealand1888 "Make My Life a Prayer to You" if I recall was written by Keith's wife, Melody Green. It is one of my very favorites too. The song itself is such a great prayer. As are many of Keith's songs. All this music is programmed in the car and plays all the time. It's so edifying.

Praise the Lord, what an awesome song, sung with such conviction that there is one name that is above every other name. The name of Jesus! What a precious Lord. Let's shout his name to the world.....

He did this at Rough River Resort State Park and silence fell across the Whole Park. Boating and surfing ceased, as The Holy Spirit came down all over the state Park. Jesus Christ was mightily Glorified and hearts were changed wherever the music could be enjoyed.

Just a small Hebrew lesson for you all. The one I love using is the Hebrew moniker Ha-Shem it means THE NAME, because His name is name to be held dear and precious. But as you and I know His Name is Above All Names. BTW the word God is derived from a German pagan deity named Gott it's not a term like a Creator or as like a Creator. Zeus and the other Greek ones they had a time before they came along they weren't infinite. But Ha-Shem has no beginning no end. The issue with why a fallen angel will always be fallen. There is no end to eternity. To let your mind bend a little, this moment and time being written here and now is in our here and now but to Ha-Shem he's outside of it. There are no emergencies no surprises. No secrets of governments behind closed doors. No fake allegiances kept from the news. All hidden things will be revealed. Things done in secret will be shouted from the rooftops elites on all side will be shown for who and what they are and why they're doing what's going on. The lies being spread on Al Jazeera and CNN and BBC and all FAKE-NEWS in America will be understood as the frauds proving the adage a lie is around the world while the truth is getting their socks on.
