I was lucky enough to interview her on the phone one time at a radio station she and Johnny were in the Bahamas and she called in. She's doing the interviewing we could hear somebody snoring in the background. After a couple of minutes she says hold on just a second. He can hear smack somebody and you can hear Johnny in the background kind of Mumble what and she told him he was a snoring and he needed to quit because she was on the telephone trying to talk. That is absolutely the most genuine interview I've ever had with any performer ever.

If you never saw her at Ryman ( before Cash), she was an entertainers' entertainer!! Always included a dance, kick off shoes, etc. She certainly impressed a young girl.
