Hi Alex. Nice tone. 😏 Did you change the stock pick ups? They seem quite oxidized. I‘ve got my SA125 since 15 years and the PU’s don't make any arrangements to do so. 😄

Thanks man! I’m usually one to experiment with pick ups etc on guitars, but to be honest with you I don’t feel the need to do so on this one, the stock pick ups are perfect! They are quite oxidized indeed, you can tell it gets a fair amount of playtime!

Did you connect the 12" ext cab to the rectoverb? How did that affect the sounds, because my rectoverb 25 sounds great but it misses a bit "body", it sounds a bit thin. I hope an extra cab could solve that problem

Yes I did, I’ve got a few other videos with both mic’ed up (Hold The Line, Crazy Train, Kids aren’t alright for example). My amp’s got the Filmore speaker (Eminence), and I’ve got the mini Rec 1x12 underneath it. Definitely fuller sounding! The other thing I’ve tried was a 2x12 with V30s in it (so without the internal speaker), and it sounds a lot fatter. I still love the internal speaker/open back better for clean/light OD.
