McCoy is lead player on the Dylan classic. Bob recorded the demo earlier with Kooper on lead but a whole different feel. Both players are genius but on this acoustic gem, Charlie pulled true Grady Martin non-stop lead adornments ( Both 10s). Great lesson Jon.

Sounds more like it’s all over baby blue. I’m trying to sing desolation row lyrics and it’s not working out with the tune. Maybe I’m too high, that is all.
Im not sure thats where he put the capo I think and its just my own opinion ...but i been a dylan fan for 40 years...i think its played as tho in key of D capo at the 2nd fret. Along with a 2nd guitar playing in E without a capo
Always enjoy a lesson on Bob Dylan! Have you ever considered doing a lesson on the Grateful Dead? Anything from Workingman’s Dead, or American Beauty. A lot of great acoustic music there.
