Doubt you’ll get any of that from JWW. The Academy is ultra competitive so unless he’s done a bunch of race driving/tuition prior it’s mid field at best. And now other drivers know there’s thousands if RUclips views covering the series next year expect a higher standard than usual.
If you are interested, there are plenty of books out there who give good advise. The money would be good invested, if you want to go racing. Believe me when I say that you will throw much more money at racing stuff.
James this is great. I've said it before and I'll say it again, from a viewer/subscriber point of view, you're nailing the variation of content on the channel which is awesome. It seems increasingly difficult to do, but you are managing it and winning sir!
hahaha gotta love the BS "selling my GT3 to go racing" it was always gonna get sold and loads of people got invited down to test them porkers. We'll see, I hope he does go racing it'll be nice to see but he's such a click baiter it's hilarious.
2020 will be quite a year with you and another UK youtuber going racing! Next decade will see you racing, bringing up a family, running a company, channel and presenting. Well done Sir!
Good luck, I did the very first one way back in 1995... wow that’s a long time ago. Ended up doing two 24 hour races at The Nurburgring in a Caterham, 2000 and 2001 before they were banned!
Damn, you do it again! Great new content! Part from the races, it would be nice to see all the preparations for the race, the events around it, ... well, yeah, everything. Keep up the good work, love it.
You're going to absolutely love it. I've raced Caterhams (when funds have allowed!) since 2012 and can never wait to get my next fix. My car did the Academy in 1998 and was still going strong when I won my championship in 2018. They are great little cars. Take a look at my channel for some on board footage.
sounds absolutely awesome to be part of something like this! wish we had it here in norway!:D Hope you will give som insight in to how track driving feels compared to normal driving. what is important to look for, train on, think about to become a better driver on track!
Love your car!! You will absolutely have the most fun, thrills and spills, and make lots of friends! I did Academy 2019, and doing Roadsport 2020, so come and say hi if you see me on track or in the Paddock.I`ve got a silver and black car, but I certainly wont miss you in yours!!
One thing I'd definitely recommend is to swap out the standard V-Box camera mounts with some 3D printed ones as the normal ones just move constantly so you don't get any good video overlays
Love my Caterhams.... have a super rare Superlight ( 007 ) and converting an ex race car (seatbag, Sigmax 140bhp, LSD, super sticky A008s ) to a road car. What's never discussed is the adjustability of the suspension, the ARB, toe in toe out. As all the cars are the same, it's down to the drivers skill and set up of the car. Will you be playing around and adjusting or are you leaving all the settings ?
When a car and vehicle design is so succesful decades ago, its still used today. "Simplfy, then add lightness" - Colin Chapman, a man who's influence on the way sports and race cars are built and designed, are still felt to this very day.
This is awsome in why we love mr.jwww. james one awsome spec of a car for road in trake crazy they offer a road car sign u up for mostly adult carting on staridues
I hope that that this fits with a new family and a growing business, what will be funny is when you turn up in an 800hp car to race 120hp car and I am really looking forward to your journey.
Don't know if you've been watching Fassbenders series on the Porsche channel but something like that would be great, your sort of behind scenes and race debrief..will the full races be available to stream somewhere? The highlights u spoke of would definitely be great..cant wait to see your adventures in 2020
Great stuff. Let us know about all the costs involved as you go as i think this is something quite a few of us would love to get involved with one day.
Awesome! So excited for your journey. Would love to get an idea of what we don't normally see with a race... All the stuff that happens before, after race, etc
I wish I had the money (and talent 😂) for something like that. The guys at Caterham are great, so I'm sure you'll be well looked after. I can't wait to see how you Academy journey unfolds.
Would be good to get an insight to costs, but also some technical stuff, how much fuel gets used, how it goes through scruteneering, some of the rules and regs of racing. What happens if you crash it? Who and how it’s repaired. From the look of it it’s going to be great to follow how you get on. Maybe an insight into the circuits that you race at. Top speeds? Good luck for the season.

I think for wet races they fit an umbrella over the rollcage for the trip to the grid
thats it

I WANT TO SEE IT ALL! Onboards, the atmosphere, the event's structure and your thoughts on it all, as it goes:)
James this is great. I've said it before and I'll say it again, from a viewer/subscriber point of view, you're nailing the variation of content on the channel which is awesome. It seems increasingly difficult to do, but you are managing it and winning sir!
Mr JWW buys a race car, completes a season and films the lot all before Archie Hamilton Racing even gets to a race track!
I like your livery!

onkouth Archie takes 3 weeks to have a shite .
Chris Dorgan say again?
@Onkouth Brutal!!!
All Hail The Nuclear Dove!
Hey Misha!
Has Boosted Boris hijacked Misha's account again? 😋
Hahaha Misha, this one doesn’t come with Cherries!😂😂😂😂😂
Yes bro! The Nuclear Dove has landed!!
@@MrJWW YAAAASSSS
While we see PLENTY of racing vids its the behind the scenes that id love to see more of. The prep and pit banter, the setup and aftermath. Have fun!
So excited to see you race. Great job James
2020 will be quite a year with you and another UK youtuber going racing! Next decade will see you racing, bringing up a family, running a company, channel and presenting. Well done Sir!
Congrats. U will love racing.
Lando Norris would approve of the livery colors! Superb!
Love this livery with MR JWW on it!
Really looking forward to seeing how your race series unfolds, good luck.
Can't wait for this content. Good luck James!
I look up towards you, sir. I will work hard to achieve what you have!
Looks like and sounds like it's going to be SOO much fun! Hope the car looks like this at the end of the season.
Good luck Mr JWW ! 🇨🇦
Looking forward to this. I’ve wanted a Lotus/Caterham ever since I was a kid and watched Secret Agent/The Prisoner back in the 60’s.
Good luck, I did the very first one way back in 1995... wow that’s a long time ago. Ended up doing two 24 hour races at The Nurburgring in a Caterham, 2000 and 2001 before they were banned!
That is SO cool!! How exciting! That will be a lot of fun to watch as you progress! Good luck!! 🤗
That’s one of my favourite colour schemes. I love the Porsche 918 in the similar blue with the acid green detailing.
And so it begins...
Wish you lots of dynamic rides!
I always enjoy watching your videos. Thank you James.
Great spec James. Love the 'Shmee' blue!! Can't wait for your racing.
This is super awesome! Would love to see highlights from all the races.
Aside from the cars which I'm certain you'll cover perfectly, I'd like to see the people too if possible. The friendships and the competition!
Just flog it, mate. Nothing will bring more joy than just seeing the car being used the way it was supposed to.
The livery and design is absolutely amazing.
Damn, you do it again! Great new content! Part from the races, it would be nice to see all the preparations for the race, the events around it, ... well, yeah, everything. Keep up the good work, love it.
Oh dam, that’s a beautiful car. Love the colors 😍🏁🏎🔥🏎🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’m really looking forward to this series.
Looks fantastic 👌👍🏁
Bravo James, and best of British luck.
This sounds so fun. Let's see some passes.
I watched last season and all it's classes. Looks like fun! Have a great time, stay safe and look forward to seeing your track debut!
You're going to absolutely love it. I've raced Caterhams (when funds have allowed!) since 2012 and can never wait to get my next fix. My car did the Academy in 1998 and was still going strong when I won my championship in 2018. They are great little cars. Take a look at my channel for some on board footage.
Awesome! I’m so excited, looking forward to sharing the journey too!

Now that’s really something to look fwd to!👍
Livery looks sweet!
Sounds fantastic Sir . Best of British luck !
2:10 “protects it from scratches”! Just wait until day 1 on track. Good luck :)
Really cool, what a line up of Caterham, looks like early christmas. Can't wait to see you on track
The best fun you will have in a car. Its like a bike on four wheels.
Damn, I love these cars! Very excited to see all the insight into what it’s like to race in this series over the next year.
I think you're going to have a ton of fun with this!
this is gonna be a great series

This is awsome in why we love mr.jwww. james one awsome spec of a car for road in trake crazy they offer a road car sign u up for mostly adult carting on staridues
Looks so cool!!!
Congrats and looking forward to seeing you on the winner's podium in 2020.
cardboard to save the lovely new car from scratches! 😂 I’m afraid you might struggle to hang onto that as an ambition James!
I hope that that this fits with a new family and a growing business, what will be funny is when you turn up in an 800hp car to race 120hp car and I am really looking forward to your journey.
I might want that custom JWW livery for my daily 👀👀
Thank you for being so generous and fucking awesome man!! 🔥🔥🔥
Love the car! Caterhams are awesome. Good luck this season!
Oh Mama, this is going to be a fun one.

Looking forward to another Awesome video filled with Great content as always James 🙂👍🏻🙂
This is going to make for an awesome video series. Can't wait to see more! Also, dude, I LOVE that AP offshore you were wearing!
Can’t wait for more content with the Caterham!!!
Great stuff. Let us know about all the costs involved as you go as i think this is something quite a few of us would love to get involved with one day.
Unfortunately my country has 130% import taxes for vehicles. Otherwise I'd buy one... Those things are awesome
Awesome! So excited for your journey. Would love to get an idea of what we don't normally see with a race... All the stuff that happens before, after race, etc
It’s all coming man!
Looks like a Rossi tribute!
Lando Noris will be soooo jealous!
Would be nice if you shared some of the costs!
Wasnt expecting that James !
Nice one!
I wish I had the money (and talent 😂) for something like that. The guys at Caterham are great, so I'm sure you'll be well looked after. I can't wait to see how you Academy journey unfolds.
One of your best videos!
Awesome job James hopefully one day I'll be able to achieve stuff like this with my own channel! :)
You are the finest youtuber on internet
I hope you have ordered stock of plenty to painted wings. They tend to be treated as a consumable!
Amazing video, you won’t know this but I actually made the roll cage and headrest so privileged
When you race the 420r you will become addicted 👊👊👍👍
Love this! When the season is all said and done it would be awesome to see you road trip the car! Gumball 2021?
Would be great to see what maintenance is required on top of driving etc. You may need a 2nd channel! (A la Doug D M)
Top speeds? Nice ticket to the racing world! What's about the mechanics' team? How many stages per year?
Caterham 7....Sans the seats....True English "lightness" engineering in action !!!!
Nice Colors blue métal and yellow 😍 i will interessed by the backstage and the seting of the car 😉
Bet you do Roadsport... Look forward to meeting you at the ARDS day
Yay!!!! Another video.
I’d get some more body painted wings if I were you, they have a tendency to come lose with ‘assistance’ 😂 good luck it’s the best thing you can do!
Good luck MrJWW from an OG subscriber. Question..... have you PPFd the the Caterham 😂
This Is going to be epic
Damn this so cool 👌🏻 car looks amazing
Quality over quantity.... not sure if thats how youtube rewards its content makers, but keep it up James!
You should try Ferrari Challenge!
You should’ve done the seat fitting in your race suit
Custom seat... fierce.
Looking forward to this competitief year. Can you make a video of the productionsite of Caterham?
JWW video posts
Me: YEEEESSSSS
Man I'd love to see different setups for the Caterham (alignment, suspension, brake balance, tire pressures, etc)
And the driving sensation.
Video coming in the new year on exactly this!
This is very cool, question, why have they not went to LED headlights? Curious question? Thanks, great video.
this is dope
Are you going to PPF it at NVN?
Should have put the MR JWW on the bonnet downwards rather than sidewards
