    Hey Nas, keyless auto door lock can be turned off via the infotainment system if u want. Otherwise I found walking closer to the door (quickly) while walking towards the boot could be another way around it. Hope that helps.

    Overall I like my bt 50. Both engine and transmission work well together and has loads of power for me. One of the things I hate is the amount of rattles and creaking I have from the interior. Around the climate control and touchscreen is always creaking while driving and a few little rattles on both seats belts and on the dash. Dealer fixed a couple but still have the issues. Hopefully all will be resolved. Good video though 👍

      Really can't say I have noticed a lot of rattling. A little but for me, it is better than other cars I've had so never really bothered about it. At leaast Mazda are trying to rectify the problem. Good luck.

    Good list. The back locking before you can get the groceries out would be on the top of my list of things that I wish they got right.

    You can change the auto locking to only activate when you press the key or button on door handle.

    great video mate really helpful! we are looking at one would you recommend the vehicle? how’s the fuel consumption around town etc?

    • @NasTimeAdventures
      @NasTimeAdventures  2 месяца назад

      I have been quite happy with the car. Still my pic of the bunch. Fuel consumption has been ok. Pretty much on par with what Mazda suggests from my experience.

      @@NasTimeAdventures that’s awesome thank you for the info! very hard to navigate all the different utes out there. just trying to avoid anything with major issues! have you had the tyre wear issue?

    Yep I turned that annoying auto lock off together with setting the AEB sensitivity to near. I’ve had the AEB activate when I was definitely not too close. Can disable but must do it every time you restart. Such a pain. Shoulda kept the old Triton!!Otherwise so enjoying my new BT50SP.

      It's easier to leave the keys in the car when camping. But I don't always trust it.

    Your locking issue can be deactivated if you go in to your settings and turn it off

    Haven’t taken a few for a test drive I’ll find them a little bit rattly and noisy inside

    • @NasTimeAdventures
      @NasTimeAdventures  День назад

      I found it better than my last car but for me, the reality is, I feel all car companies have cheaped out and more and more cars are rattlers. I found Nissan to be the worst though. Just felt so cheap.

    I have a fair bit of wind noise drivers side door from 80 km onwards is it common? The car is great to drive I have a Ultimate 9 X installed which is great for towing better throttle response.

    • @NasTimeAdventures
      @NasTimeAdventures  Месяц назад

      I pretty much always drive with the window open so I do get some noise. Windshields help but snorkel doesn't. A throttle controller is essential in any car I drive these days. A great car all round for touring. 😀🙏

    The wireless charger is "allegedly" 15w. (Should be plenty). What phone are you running?

    • @NasTimeAdventures
      @NasTimeAdventures  4 месяца назад +1

      Samsung S20+

    • @LockyourHubs4WDing
      @LockyourHubs4WDing 4 месяца назад

      @@NasTimeAdventures the iPhone artificially cripple wireless charging down to 7.5w without their proprietary wireless charger. Though the Samsung should be able to charge, no worries.
      Try it without your phone cover, some can attenuate the strength of the charging field.

    how is it offroad mate? thoughts on hilux SR5 vs this?

    • @NasTimeAdventures
      @NasTimeAdventures  4 месяца назад

      Been quite impressed with it offroad. I have linked a video below of a recent drive. As for the Toyota, can't tell you too much about them. I am not personally a fan of the brand. Overrated and overpriced. Just my opinion.

    The wireless charger not having enough oomph when Apple Carplay or Android Auto is in use will be an issue for me. And just like my vehicle, I too have to click and acknowledge their T&Cs on the screen each time I start the car. This too is annoying. The rest you mentioned, I can learn to live with.

    How’s the engine and gearbox and off-road capabilities
    All that stuff you mention is small fry
    Does it turn on and drive long distances without you feeling 0:06 fatigued ?

      Cheers mate. I have a few more relevant videos you may find useful. Yes I did put a lot of thought into this car. It was my dream build. I'll always find a few things wrong but I chose this car because there were a lot more things right. It does well offroad and is now set up as a beast of a tourer. I'm aching to do a bigger trip again. Cheers bud.

      Ok
      So I’ve just got mine, based on your review I went with BT50 over all overs as you didn’t really have much to complain about 😂
      I love it, BUT
      And it is a big BUT
      The auto brake came on when Ute decided I was too close to a turning left vehicle
      Scared the shit out of me and the guy behind me just about ran up my ass
      I see that you can turn that off but pain in the ass that it resets once vehicle is turned off
      Goes bloody well off road here in New Zealand and is sooooooo comfortable to drive and plenty of room
      I’m 6’3’ and reasonably solid and have room to move about
      Again that’s for your vid
