It's true! I love them both for different reasons... they're both exactly what I need them for in certain situations. I have a more in-depth comparison video coming out soon!!! I also hear that more kindles are coming out in 2025 so that'll be exciting to see what features they have!

@@clee028- I will say I told them I wear glasses (which I do) & the ads were confusing me plus I was a kindle unlimited user and I just didn’t need or want the ads😊

you can get the ads off for free if you want! just nicely ask a customer service person and they usually say yes

It doesn’t ruin it internally, I’ve just tried some that give off a glare, so if I did one again I’d find a matte one!
If you wanna get rid of the ads try calling customer service and requesting it. I did that and they did not charge me the $20 :)

I told them I was broke after buying loads of kindle content, and has ad free on my other model. Ads gone, no quibbles
