i have the same exact one and i found out that if you put on the airplane mode while you're using it, the battery last SO MUCH longer! i bought it in august and even if i don't read every day, i charged it max 4-5 times ever since!

Honestly they're cheaper then I thought I think the basic is running at $120 these days. Plus ebooks are cheaper then even paperback. It is however pretty tricky to download them if you don't have a computer and/or Amazon account. IDK how old you are. I got one for college because I had to buy a bunch of business books accessible through kindle. Maybe ask your parents for one, pick up some chores, side gig. If you buy books it will pay for itself in ~30 books and most parents are pro reading more

I've been contemplating for months whether to buy kindle or not because I read fanfics on a daily basis, and reading on my ipad seems too uncomfortable because it's big and heavy, but reading on my phone is somewhat too small (and the glare is exhausting my eyes). I watched this and I immediately purchased one right after.

Hello, sorry to high jack your comment. However just came to say the kindle has made a huge difference to my eye strain I was getting reading on my phone. Especially at night. So worth it
also in some of your pictures of you reading on trains (me too!!) your font is pretty small, i find that if you use a bigger font you may have to turn pages more frequently but it also lets you read so much faster since your eyes glide across the page, its harder to focus with more text

I'm kinda jealous that there's a physical store that sells kindle and that there's demo kindles as well.... from where I'm from and from my own experience we only get to buy it online with a huge risk of it being broken, never arriving despite a notice that it has been received, and receiving the item and finding out that there are LOADS of dead pixels no, scratch that the whole screen is just dead

I couldn’t get the Canva app to let me add text to the cover photo, and couldn’t figure out how to attach it to the file before sending to kindle. it honestly depends on your preference! if ur someone who carries it around everywhere then maybe having a screen cover is better to avoid scratches! but i find that just having a regular case works fine for me! and sometimes having the flip cover can be kind of fiddly when reading

Omg me too! I bought mine in August too and now it's not available on Amazon anymore. Am glad I bought it when I did.
If you check out library books, airplane mode on allows you to keep it after due date. Just dont take it off, or you lose the book
