Wanted to say, all the videos I watched, having issues on a 2010 front passenger door, not opening from in or outside, this is the only video that showed the latch from the inside, to actually see how it looks, and how is hooked up, big help! Im still in process of fixing mine, don't get alot of time to mess with it, So far, I did pull the seat, which made room to pull the panel out easier, disconnected the switches/removed from the panel then hooked them back up, so everything will still operate, unfortunately that is as far as I got, and had to go back to work, next time off I hope to have the issue figured out and repaired

Thank you soooooo much, my door handle on the outside broke and the the whole darn door wouldn't open from either side. I have been trying to fix this since March 2020, but didn't want to mess up the whole door till I could fix the whole darn Thing. Wow same! My outside door handle broke and came off in March too. What a coincidence. Then my short tempered boyfriend slammed it and it stopped opening from the inside. Now he gets to crawl through the window. 😂😂😂 I plan to fix it today. This video is the first one I found that had a good explanation of how everything works.
@@AmyStreetLife hahahahaha that is how mine stopped open all together. my other half did the same darn thing. hahahaha. I am still trying to get everything so that I can work on my door but it should all be here by tomorrow.
Thanks your video was very helpful. I could open my 2011 tahoe from the inside and out. Unlike yours my child safety lock was not engaged. But I still had trouble with the yellow lock holder. So I had to push it up then down to open the door. Again thanks
Great video. I had to replace the door handle. And my issue is trying to open or release the yellow clip from the rod. Can’t figure out which side to pull on to open the clip.

I have the opposite issue. The back seat door opens from outside but not inside. Maybe the inside handle is disconnected from the wire.
