The game begins with Wario enjoying his newly built castle, which is filled with treasures that he has collected from earlier adventures. An evil gem called Black Jewel, hidden amongst Wario's treasure collection, suddenly awakens and takes over the castle. Black Jewel turns Wario's treasure into monsters, and transforms the castle into four worlds called Excitement Central, Spooktastic World, Thrillsville, and Sparkle Land, each consisting of two levels and a boss fight. A central area allows access to the different worlds, as well as to the Treasure Square, where the Huge Treasure Box inside of which Black Jewel is hiding can be found. Wario proceeds through the areas controlled by Black Jewel, recovering his treasure and rescuing Spritelings (the creatures that had sealed Black Jewel away in the past), then obtains the key to the Huge Treasure Box and engages Black Jewel in a battle. Wario's subsequent victory allows him to regain control of his castle.

You know, I wish that Warioware had never existed...
And became *WALUIGI* Ware instead!
I just feel that Waluigi is the definition of completely missed potential, Nintendo could have done so much with him going on to start a game business, it would fit him a lot more than Wario. According to my "extensive" research, Warioware's first installment, "WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!", came out in 2003. While Waluigi, on the other hand, first debuted in Mario Tennis which came out in 2000!
I just wish that Waluigi got the wacky world of microgames, while Wario would go onto all these dangerous treasure-seeking adventures to find more gold. That way, Waluigi would have enough of a character to get into Smash instead of being a one-off character, and Wario wouldn't go through an identity crisis. Or, at the very least, Waluigi makes an appearance in a Warioware game, or any game. His last appearance was in 2022.
I love Wario World, Nintendo really needs to make use of their old IPs or give them to other companies willing to use it with care.

I would like to add to your comment that I wish Nintendo would release more Wario games. For example, to release Wario Odyssey or Wario World 3d, like Mario has. Wario and Waluigi are very underrated, I want something more than WarioWere games

Looks like it registered his as taking damage on the landing on the throw, and then again from the fall.
