- It's been a year since we moved to Pakistan from Qatar. We have documented the journey so far and in this video we try to debrief and collect our thoughts on what has been a roller coaster ride so far.

Congratulations! May Allah bless your family. I have also moved back after my studies and living with my wife here in Islamabad, so I can relate to a lot of your content from getting plants to renovating our house. Keep them coming. I really enjoy all your content and have learnt a lot from it (fire safety equipment, gate automation etc.)
Best of luck for parenthood! Our son is now 1 year old and I can tell you that it is fulfilling, rewarding and exhausting but you will love it.

Now come to the ground realities, look at our police, judiciary, bureaucracy, business community, do you think all are performing a good enough duties ???, of course NO otherwise what's happening in our country that shouldn't be the case, be honest please, if you deal with any person back home take it from top to bottom, bottom to top will take you hard way in dealing, look at the quality of consumer products, pharmaceuticals items, etc. etc..... so long list. Thus be open and accept and try to correct, don't go into denial, otherwise you'll never learn the right path clue. Least but not last try not to take this as personal. Thanks.!
No it is not. And even if it is whose responsibility is that? Mothers who raise kids? You guys are pathetic. Really. Country is the punching bag you guys have to punch whenever you find it easy buy never self imrpove in your own capacity. Thinking that if no other is changing why would I change.

Coming over to the first point of ur video, yes I highly agree with the fact that Pakistan's automobile industry or may I say the automobile scenario here in Pakistan whether it's 2 wheels or 4 wheels; we come across the most horrible experiences of our life... Buying a brand new car, getting it registered and paying taxes, getting its maintenance done, claiming it's warranty, purchasing spare parts, buying or selling an old car, getting it transferred on ur name or having some work done over it.... Nothing, not a single thing goes inline with rest of the world and I am unable to get any satisfying answers yet

Just go to retailor, shopkeeper, wholesaler, businessmen, construct home, buy car, do anything you will definitely face corruption, in medicine, hospitals, private schools mafia, take any name corruption is there in Pakistan, I'm also living abroad and when I compare with Pakistan felt pain, depressed.

You are absolutely right, I feel the same. Women are extremely safe in the Middle East. I have been living in KSA for about 18 years. People are extremely respectful towards generally everyone but special women. I have seen girls walking alone without any fear or specially no one give a second look and have respect in their eyes. In Pakistan car prices are like drug prices, people are addict and prices are keep going on up. Proton saga is best choice if fuel consumption is not an issue for you. Best of luck for future live in Pakistan.

This my experience in this country. Do pay advance money to any. They will fulfill the promise. I left karach 35 years a ago.now settled in Islamabad. I miss the taste of karachi food. But Islamabad is a calm city. Very few street crimes and well behaved Islamabad police.
I mean do not pay advance money to any they will not fulfil the promises
Please do it on FBR taxation if you have any idea I am moving back to Pakistan in 2 months, we have no idea how to file taxes. etc

Don't worry Owais bhai. I took test drive of Proton saga Ace CBU unit and also booked it, probably at the same time as you.
In terms of drive, it was really good. The steering, the handling, the suspension was really good. One extra bonus was the the car had excellent soundproofing, let's just hope that we also get the same soundproofing in the CKD units.
The late delivery isn't Proton's fault, it's because there's a lockdown in Malaysia going on and they can't ship the equipment required for local assembly because the malaysian government won't allow it.
I am aware but i have not received any email or call or sms about my delayed delivery... zero communication... Also the car launched in April. Malaysia's lockdown started in June... this shows there was lack of planning from Al Haj's end

They did share the reason and some small details about the delay on their Facebook page though. (Proton Pakistan)

Randomly came across your vlog, ended up watching almost all of it. You're 100% right about the car market here and its frankly beyond a joke. As far as Shawarma goes, I guess you guys are looking for Arabia shawarma, try Srian shawarma in F-7 (Jessies kay sath), and Manjoos in Bahria Civic Center.
Your wife is 100% right about women not being safe in Pakistan.

ASAK, congratulations to both of you. My friend if you feel lost after 18 years,try coming back after 37 years with wife and kids and building everything yourself. This is our country and we have to adapt and don't mention the fact that you are a foreigner in your own country. Be strong and adapt yourself,you have a family in Karachi and I think in Islamabad also. If you want to sit and mope I can join you,but,there was a reason you came back like I did. My guess is, as a family you both hasn't burned your boats yet....brother moving from abroad back to Pakistan is not an easy stuff. First of all, the most importat is develop a sea of patient inside of you. Unfortunately things do not move the way you compare with outside world. Secondly, try to have your personal and licensed weapon at home (very important). People try to take advantage of you once they know you've moved back for good. 3rdly, start loving the beauty of nature of this country. Visit Northern area, Mountains top, desert etc. You will start forgetting the greatness of outside world. Anyhow, Zacha aur bacha ko Allah Pak Apnay Hifzo Aman main Rekhain, ameen. Try Syrian Shawarma in Islamabad, it's better.... And try Pita the Shawarma Revolution in Karachi plus the local street food Shawarma sellers in Bahadurabad area make good Shawarma close to the Arabic one

Hi Brother, I am from UAE. Pakistan experience is annoying Lil bit but its our own country. I would like to share my funny experience - Near to my residence here in UAE one bldg started just year ago when they started piling work I started construction of my home only going for 2nd floor. Bldg here in UAE already completed with 16 floors and open for public but my house still not completed interior work still left and even we can enjoy whenever its raining without going outdoor because of bad water proofing. Whom to ask, bas aisay he chal raha hai sab kuch وطن mai.

Maja Rica Platter shawarma in Lahore is in my personal opinion and other peoples opinion in the best shawarma platter in lahore and probably there is no match... its addictive.
Honest suggestion you need a good editor for your videos and make them precise and max 10 mins otherwise we have to watch video while forwarding because the story of your content moves so slowly that sometimes its difficult to get stick to your content.
Well I think he dont need that as I loved the raw and reality of his videos .
