Need to be there in August to bid on that Plymouth. That's a dream car of mine. Hopefully I'll be able to travel over from Canada by then. If not maybe you can pick it up for me. Lol. Great video yet again. This collection is amazing. 👍🍻
The diversity of this collection is breathtaking. I would rather spend the day there than any theme park anywhere. I would feel blessed to own any one of those, but the business coupe is the first car that I remember my dad having. Your knowledge of parts and accessories is second to none. 👍☮️
It's cool you are able to identify these parts for them. This world be to over whelming for them to do without you and Mike. They deserve to reap the bounty Larry left them. Good job guys and thanks.
That was amazing, I'm so glad to see people like you who can step up and help a family who would probably be swindled out of this incredible collection otherwise. It's a wonderful thing you're doing considering how overwhelming a collection like this can be to the family. I'll bet they'll know a heck of a lot more about old cars than they thought they would by the time they're done. Keep up the good work sir.
I am very good at marking what it is and year. Then what vehicle it belongs to. So if you pass on to the GREAT junk yard in the sky. Your family can sell or have a auction to recoup the monies you spent on your Barn or garage hoard. Shawn.
The Valiant wagon with the doors locked is the star of the show. Toads are hard to find and wagons even more so. I haven't seen one that nice in 50 years....
Damn you boys find the good stuff! I know cars but your old hot rod parts knowledge just blows me away. Shame Larry couldn’t be there, bet he’d love chatting about where he got all that cool ‘junk’, what he paid and how he was going to use it.
WOW !!! That was an exciting video ! So much amazing hot rod stuff ! Such great cars ! Those are going to be HIGH DOLLAR Auctions ! I am glad I am over 1,000 miles away or I would be broke and calling my banker for a major loan at the end of the auction day. This was also like a preview of my own auction. My son is going to hate me when that time comes because it's all left to him to deal with ! Thanks Matt & Mike for the adventure. See ya in the next Video. Be Safe and Well All
I had a Corvair back in 1975 like that one! Jeez though I froze up because winters here can be below zero a lot of the time! Corvair heaters are really bad! Other than that though it always ran! Not a bad car for a 16 year old!
If it's a 71 it was only offered as a 6 but it's still very desirable, the grill in good condition is 500 + alone I'd be glad to assist in spreading the word in the amc world about the car if you want
A friend of mine had a chopped '32 five window with the plexiglass roof insert. Really bad idea. The sun just fried the interior and it was no fun to drive on a sunny day.
I'm surprised your Spidey senses didn't start tingling before you opened the trunk on the Plymouth Matt. Cool episode y'all, thanks for taking us along for the journey guys.👍❤️😷✌️
IronTrap Garage not to sound vulgar, but did y'all get a little aroused when you saw what was in the trunk? I'd guess there was some woodage from hot rod junkies like y'all. 🍌🌭 🤔😳😱🙈😂
This is what car guy Christmas looks like I bet you were thinking This one for me that one in the auction Go stick this in the trailer mike He had some stuff 👍👍😍😍
Great show today. I like the way you go through that personal property with respect. Just think Larry was the last guy to put that stuff in those places. I have a pretty good size shed when I get stuff when he passed away 10 years ago a lot of that I haven’t touched because I know it’s the way he left it.
Matt & Mike, WOW!! Very cool stuff, you both are very fortunate to be able to see & sort through all that vintage speed equipment, if you have a secret Visa card, now may be the time to get it out, you may want to contact your bank & increase the limlt!! BTW, that orange small block Chev into Ford V8 mount, judging by the color, could be a Ansen.....Great video guy's!!
@@IronTrapGarage Haha, your reply was pretty funny, Matt finding the J2 Olds stuff sort of rekindled my interest in the one I told Matt about.....details soon....
Quick, the SCHROLL FAMILY, check MATT and MIKE pockets, plus inside the CAMERA CASE. At least in this video, you shouldn't have to many 'screct admirers 'unlike your last pick. Good on you for helping the family of LARRY Ps----no sticky fingers 😆😆😆😆😆👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I got a huge 49-51 mercury hoard SUre don't look forward to the day i have to get it all out .And with so many true car guys gone already going to be tuff getting rid of
My first car was a 74 Mercury Comet that I got when I was 16. It was a fun little car with the straight 6, I'd bid on that one if I wasn't jobless and so far away.
Three fyi: you guys rock! The nos corvette valve covers, if staggered bolts and seven rib could be "ultra" rare. Nine ribs are a dime a dozen. Not to nit pick but being from So Cal, and old enough to have been there, for general info: Weiand is pronounced WEE-and. But your knowlege of vintage stuff is awesome!
You’re wrong. Weiand even had valve covers and speed parts that said “Say Why And” cast right on them. Just because you were around then doesn’t mean you still didn’t pronounce it wrong. I appreciate the input though.
Had the best time watching you pull those great parts from their hidey holes! How did you stop yourself from buying the whole kit-and-kaboodle right there, on the spot?!?
@@IronTrapGarage i give you props a lesser man would have down plyed how good those heads and intake was to buy them for him self much respect For Your Integrity much respect
Nice Mustang, like model A coupes too, nice! Man,s TREASURE trove like dying and waking up in heaven surrounded by nice cars and nice girls, ha ha lol.
I’m drooling and dribbling over this stuff , wish I lived in the states just so I could try to own one of those cars , for me to purchase , shipping it half way around the world to me is too expensive
Anyone coming to the July 11th or August 22nd auction?? Matt and Mike will be!!!!
So will the family at least keep some of Larry's cars for themselves or just sell them all? (Second btw! XD)
Are those firm dates now
Need to be there in August to bid on that Plymouth. That's a dream car of mine. Hopefully I'll be able to travel over from Canada by then. If not maybe you can pick it up for me. Lol. Great video yet again. This collection is amazing. 👍🍻
Is there a list of cars that are being auctioned in July?
The July auction is still the first 7 that were pulled at the start of the year. All the information is on Rentzels website
The diversity of this collection is breathtaking. I would rather spend the day there than any theme park anywhere. I would feel blessed to own any one of those, but the business coupe is the first car that I remember my dad having. Your knowledge of parts and accessories is second to none. 👍☮️

If you think ,you've seen it all -think twice .....that collection is outstanding . I could really fall for the 682C Headlights 😍
That Business Coupe trunk was absolutely what you would call a serious honey hole! Sometimes all you can do is stand there and just say WOW
I watched this when it first came out last year. It's fun to watch it again a year-and-a-half later
What a great half hour. The old 'kid in a candy store' adage certainly applies here. Thanks for taking us along.
Love watching you guys going through all those treasures. Its awesome that you always pay tribute to Larry Schroll.
We have to give respect to those that stored this old gems!
GOD BLESS LARRY!! ....ALL OF THESE CARS AND PARTS NEVER WOULD'VE SURVIVED WITHOUT HIM!!
100% he saved alot of cars from being crushed or parted out!!!
@@IronTrapGarage YOU'RE DOING A GREAT JOB TOO MATT!!
What a honey hole of cars & parts he left behind. 👍
When you're digging through that trunk, l swear l could smell that stuff.
Haha mission accomplished!
I thought a mask may have been appropriate. If not for the dust then for Covid.
Bewild Erment that magnificent smell of vintage treasures lol
Great video! I could literally watch it all day long. The look on your face when you popped that trunk was priceless.
Not very often Matt is speechless
It had to be so amazing going to all that cool stuff. King Tut's tomb

Wow what a treasure trove.
Ohhhhh, a nos cinder block in the Model A for winter driving!😁😁😁

You are living the life Matt! Far cry from your scirocco at h2o days!
Same thing just older and more valuable. Was doing all of this with old German car parts before I documented it. This is second nature to me!
Oh man you guys must be having the best time diggin through all that awesome stuff!
It’s the most fun you can have!!!
With your clothes on at least!
That 34 OMG and the 31 coupe that's like gold
The Valiant wagon with the doors locked is the star of the show. Toads are hard to find and wagons even more so. I haven't seen one that nice in 50 years....
I have one locally. Very nice original; car and used very regularly.
Damn you boys find the good stuff! I know cars but your old hot rod parts knowledge just blows me away.
Shame Larry couldn’t be there, bet he’d love chatting about where he got all that cool ‘junk’, what he paid and how he was going to use it.
Thanks so much!
Oh man, that Gremlin is cool!
I'm having to hold my chest, this old man has gotten 30 years younger just looking at this stuff on video, the guy had treasure trove of parts.
boy! oh boy! what a treasure trove in the back of that Plymouth! I have never seen such a stash in my life.
It's not something you come across on the regular!!

So many good cars going to that auction with something for everyone's taste.
So true! He had a good eye for near old stuff!
You guys really know your stuff. The family is lucky to have your help. Cool video...
I know some for my age but still learning! A lot of the 60’s stuff has me stumped since I don’t mess with that stuff!
Wow Navarro race heads OMG that trunk OMG all that speed equipment I'm in heaven
That was how we felt!
A lot of good things in this collection! I wish I lived closer so I could go to the auction! Thanks for showing such cool things!

That Plymouth!, that Olds!...drools

Might have to re-arch the springs in the old Plymouth. That was a load! Glad you found your grille shell!
Lot of cool items for flaties and y block's 👍
That was a great video, never disappointed with the treasure hunting videos and that 41 Plymouth looks great. Cheers

Lol I was excited to see the amc gremlin
That was awesome! So exciting, that gremlin x is a 71 or 72 and is the most desirable gremlin
It’s a 6 cylinder unfortunately. We peaked under the hood

Alot of people are going to be bidding on that one!!!

Matt, you need that SBC Three Deuce setup for your 34. It looks silly with just a two barrel.
That’s the plan for next year possibly
Those "Naked Lady" hubcaps are new and can be bought for $399 a set on line!
This is a great video 🙂 love this stuff !!!
Thanks MATT id sure like to get a close look at that falcon !!!!!!!!!!!!!
When we pulled the Mustang out we showed it a little bit
Dash looks like 1936 Chevy. I had it in my 36 delivery
I want that gremlin!! Lol
And the Maverick, my 15 year old son wants one

Matt those bumper wings are for a 1941 plymouth .
I knew they were 41-48 but I couldn’t remember the brand. Thanks for the info!
I heard you swallow your heart when that trunk on the Plymouth opened. :/ LOL
That was Matt doing math in his head. He was trying to figure out if he had the money on hand 😂
I see a sweet 70 Maverick cheers from Jacksonville Florida

That Coupe with the Cadillac engine, I would do a Conservation but not a Restoration on that car.
Keep the look it has now but run and drive great.
