  • We show you how to install the Flat 6 Motorsports by EVOMS Upgraded Diverter Valves on a 991.2 Carrera, Carrera S or GTS. These CNC machined diverter valves replace the cheap plastic OEM units that are prone to leak over time. These help to maintain consistent boost pressure from the turbos and quicker turbo response.

    Thanks For Sharing.
Be Nice To Remove The Fan By 1st Pulling Upwards To Release The Four Nipples Connected To The Base Then Pull The Fan Towards Ourselves To Release The Last Nipple Connected To The Other Location.
Pulling Hard Upwards Only Could Potentially Introduce Fatigue To That Last Plastic Nipple, Which Could Break Off Overtime.
Love To See More Works From You Guys!
    Take Care

Also not bad idea to lube those nipples (“that’s what she said”) with some silicone grease when reinstalling, and then they’re easier in the future and won’t get damaged so easily.

What’s the reason for changing it? Did an engine control fault (Check engine light) pop up?

The plastic diverter valves often fail over time. They tend to leak boost pressure so you don't get full boost. This is more common when the vehicle is tuned with higher boost pressures. In addition, the upgraded units help boost recovery between shifts.

Just bought these from you. What's a reasonable amount of time for this so I can manage my day ?

to get to the point they start in the video, maybe 1-1.5 hr, to get the IC housing off ~15 min per side, to swap the DV, 5-10 min/side. Maybe 2.5-3hr, but a pro would do it in half that time, you’ll be faster the second time too.

Also, if you haven’t already, you might as well do the 4 yr service(s) at this time if you haven’t: air filter (4yr/40k mi), oil (1yr/10k mi), spark plugs (4yr/30k mi), and all the other inspections (belt/tensioner/etc.) and don’t forget to put some silicon grease in all the ball/grommet connectors so they don’t dry out and break, also dielectric grease in the electrical connectors. Have fun, cheers!
