      Thanks, Ray. Fortunately this is not my day job. Otherwise I’d be broke! Lol. Got some more cool mod videos coming soon. Stay tuned!

    I could never tell but on the biggest opening on the diverter valve, did you put the big rubber gasket on the valve first or put the gasket in the pipe first. Thanks
    Loved the air filter install as well

    Again nice job, there are specialist tools that are soley for clamps, a lot easier to use than that wrench..

    while you are at it, add the soul sport headers! I'm thinking about doing that mod myself

      Did you find the headers to be a worthwhile mod?

      Perhaps another time. No need to do them while doing the cats thought. Completely separate workstream other than being underneath the car.

    Great installation video for the diverter valve. One question, where did you buy your jack stands? They have an unusual design which makes them very stable. Thanks.

    When the diverter valve leaks, does it throw a check engine light?

      Great question and unfortunately I don’t know the answer. My guess is you’ll experience is an immediately noticeable loss of boost pressure.

    Interesting mod, I should have done this when I swapped in the Soul performance cats. The fit was a bit of a pain, especially trying to get the turbo heat shield to attach to the new cats needed some tooling to get it to reattach. I am sure you're going to love the cats tho, coupled with the OEM sport exhaust, the noise in sport mode is intoxicating! The turbo spool is so much more pronounced. I also applaud you for doing this in your garage, I took my car to a DIY workshop down in Miami for a day.
    What supports do you use to do the car work at home?

      Thanks, Vlad. Yeah those heat shields were crazy to remove. Having the proper tools helped but it’s not like I had them going into it. Amazon prime helped. I use Jackpoint Jack Stands. They are amazing for their purpose. I’m just now learning about DIY shops where you can bring your car to and work on. That’s cool! Oh, and “intoxicating” is the exact word I used to describe the sound as well. LOVE IT!!! That video is coming soon.

      @@fickstit2839 Agreed, the top rear screws to remove the heatshields off the turbos were a nightmare. Thankfully Todd, the shop owner at 'Garage Yourself' in Hialeah, was very accommodating and knowledgeable and helped us out. Top notch place, it may be a bit of a trek for you tho if you're north of FLL.

    Do you feel the difference?

    • @fickstit2839
      @fickstit2839  8 месяцев назад

      Hard to tell especially since it was done in conjunction with the sport cats but there was definitely a difference with all of it done.
