I want you guy's to Kno this .... I admire your perseverance your Moxie an the Love!! And the just go do it ness you show... !!
Your channel has gotten me thru my own rough sea!! We have been homeless since the fire Feb 28,2020... It's sailing that's saved me .. I have to say .. it's the integrity of each sailor an the unconditional love I see in the faces of strangers... That makes me appreciate all you 4 do as a team!!
You both really inspired me to not give up on myself so I could survive these 3 years in a motel .. I chose Happiness... That dang simple!! An we push forward thru it all...
But Friday almost broke me completely after all the hard work of my partner these 3 years..! My son knocked on bathroom door.. Mummy Daddy color is blue... 😳 So I go (running tripping over my not pulled up pants) in he's blue drenched is sweat... I knuckle his center chest.. I barely get a response.. our son who's on the spectrum saw his Nana die suddenly in my arms from COPD.. The look on his face.. never want to see that...
So I call 911 after doing everything to get him in position to get air.. he was shallow breathing... Paramedics get here. An because we are homeless living in a motel they assume drugs.... I remember, Ashley how inspite of complete fear an fright you kept a balance an strength...So I explained what happened I assumed he had pneumonia mixed with him still smoking ciggies an working 6 days a week...!!! They put oxygen on him... An then off to hospital... Where it was found smoking an not stopping when told almost took him away from us... He has Emphysema beginning stages... So 5 days no ciggies.. an I quit too!!
Guy's I tell you all this to tell you ... The things you go thru an the thing's you say do not fall opon deaf ears... Those lesson's you've shown an the introspection it hits me .I hear you an even at 54...
I'm grateful for sailing channels..it's all I want to do again...I miss the sea...
So I've been squirreling away money for a vessel... I just want to get to Aruba...my sister an family live there......
Thanks for sharing your lives with us and inspiring us to be better...do better an see the world if only thru your camera lens. ... This old salt will happily be there✌🏼💗😊⛵
    Ps.
They thought we were druggies cuz we had narcan boxes of it.. I do outreach from this rm .. I Kno all those here .. an I have been helping those I can. An in turn I'm growing an realizing I'm here for a reason.... To learn true courage an tenacity and resilience just like you guys..... ✌🏼💗😊⛵

If you hike Lion's Head, there is a taco restaurant in the neighborhood below that serves the best tacos we have ever had, bar none. A bit hipster, but affordable compared to North America and clearly a ton of work to put together. El Burro. Wow! A really great adventure! We are feeling what the ancient navigators might have felt like. Thank you again for sharing the serenity, joy, excitements and dreams. both of you are a great insperation. By the way, both of you are looking good, Ashley really looks beautiful on this coverage. Again congratulations. And please don't ever compromise safety, always stay safe. We are always praying for your family's safe journey. May God be always with your family. God bless. God bless.

Awesome Guys... Now you make me miss home... 2 months are not enough in Cape Town, but if you have to go, try to see as much as possible in-between the boat work. - but above all go back to Dolphin Beach and go Kite... I started watching you because you were fellow Kiters, haven't seen much of that lately.
Also another very scenic kite spot is Misty Cliffs, just a view minutes drive from the VNA (you can thank me later...;-))
    Enjoy Cape Town.
