    Guys, as a chemist, the catalyst should still be active, just the solvent has evaporated. If there is still a semblance of white powder in the bottom of the container, it should still be fine/active. You really only need microscopic amounts. I'd redissolve it in like acetone, or ethanol, or vodka, or MEK, (if you maybe remember what it smelled like you could use the same solvent, like an acetone smell for example). At worst, just ass a bit of the powder/remains to the liquid glue, and it will do its job! You can do a little test sample on a bit of cardboard just to be sure. Good luck!

    Your time in the Phillipines freaked me out until I reminded myself the 2 of you are educated and in your mid thirties and most definitely carefully researched what can happen to people who say docked in OZ versus a 3rd world country. Most of the travel shows are land based and your channel is a whole other thing!
    Ben continues to put a stitch in my side he has EXCELLENT comedic timing when he speaks to you Ashley!
    The vantage point you shared with us would of never been seen on a regular cable program!

    I have seen a lot of videos from people that have visited the Philippines and one thing that gets me is the way that most say the Tagalog word for Thank You, they say it wrong.
    In this video they are saying "SAL A MAT" and that is incorrect. The correct way is "SA LA MAT". Plus the "A" is pronounced like the "A" in father in Tagalog.

    Hi was wondering about what insurance you need for sailing around the world? Thanks

    • @SailingNahoa
      @SailingNahoa  5 лет назад +3

      It's called bluewater insurance and it is for offshore sailing. The cost of the insurance is completely dependant on your experience as skipper/crew as well as the regions you will be sailing in. For example, getting bluewater insurance for the Caribbean is much much less than for crossing the Indian ocean. Why? Because a lot less yachts sail across the Indian than up and down the Caribbean island chain. All that said, insurance is ultimately not required. It's a personal choice. For us the boat is everything we own so it makes sense to never lapse on our insurance coverage ! :)

      Piso is only used in filipino term. Its not his mistake for calling it peso as both terms are correct. Dont be smart ass.
