Are the Adios Pro 3 wider than the Alpha and Vapors? I bought a Vaporfly and they just were to narrow, I even went a half size up.

Huge fan of the AF V1 and the Prime X so I just got the AAP3 in to test (30% discount from Adidas). AF has been my marathon go-to this year with 3 back-to-back-to-back blocks/races. Never disappointed by V1 so I'm guessing V2 will be phenomenal. The Prime X has gotten most of my longer miles with pace. Hoping the AAP3 will be a faster version of the Prime X.

You'll find with the Adidas it'll take time to break in, my Takumi Sen 8 are close to 100 miles in, and they feel amazing.

I never run in the Alphafly. Being a slow 🐌🐌🐌 runner I am on the fence if to get Alphafly V1 to try as it's under €200 now.. Like you I am a bit of a heel striker.. Waist of money on a 10 min mile run.. I do run about 50k+ per week.

In my opinion every runner should experience the Alphafly! Nothing compares any I have a LOT of different shoes. They have got me all my best times this year from 5k upwards

@@pauldelaney4186 I agree Paul, I love mine. Easily the best running shoe I have and I have over 15 pair of running shoes...lol I.P, they aren't just for speed, they will also help save your knees and joints. I understand they are quite pricy but if you have the coins, I recommend at least buying a pair.

IMO the alphafly V1 is the best shoe there is for longer runs and racing..it is comfortable at any speed but I do think it feels best if you are up on the front 1/2 of the midsole..it's very easy on your feet and joints and really squishy in the heel..a heel striker will like the squishyness but it might feel like you're running uphill cos the drop is relatively low..reminds me of the altra zero drop shoes..they are comfortable but it takes more work for the same pace and alphafly V1 are the same way..it's almost like 2 different shoes depending if you are a mid/forefoot runner or heel runner..also they seem to be much more durable than the vaporfly, especially for heel wear..

Adios pro 3 any day over alphafly. The latter is more comfortable, less noisy and not clunky on the foot. Aesthetically too, pro 3 wins.

  • @Bodhished

I just ordered the Alphafly 2 here in Australia.. For some reason they are basically the same price as Nike didn't increase the price of the alphafly 2 compared to the alphafly 1.
Great comparison though. I have just done first run in the Takumi Sen 8 and probably keep that for Park runs.

      But pretty fast.
Definitely compared to shoes like speed 2 it's more built for speed and wouldn't daily. I'm not that fast though and was doing 4.30 km pace. Need to do a 5k to really judge.

Curious how the Alphafly 2 has been getting so many bad reviews and a few good reviews, is this a running style, pace thing? Or more down to shoe company preference bias (even if it is subconscious)?

Hi Stephen, thanks for watching. All our vs videos are new content but of course cover similar ground to the reviews of the shoes involved. We always aim to do lots of comparisons in the full reviews, but many people only search for ‘vs’ vids, which is why we do them too
