Since Christmas is almost upon us, how about one more sketch from The Fast Show. A Chanel 9 sketch from the 1996 Christmas Special. In this sketch, Chanel 9 airs a disco musical nativity play about the birth of Jesus featuring Vassilos Bubo (John Thomson) as Joseph. Poula Fisch (Caroline Aherne) as Mary. Mikki Disco (Charlie Higson) as the Archangel Gabriel. Kolothos Apollonia (Paul Shearer) and Spanish Cheesy Peas advertiser (Paul Whitehouse) as the Wise Men and featuring songs performed by Mikki Disco and Von Trudies (Arabella Weir) as they come together to celebrate Christmas. The word 'sprog' means child.
