First time Huntsville has made it to the D1* National Championships
Santa Cruz throwing a 5 break lead, on soft cap, on the game to go, after already beating them the day before, may be the biggest sell I have seen since the Seahawks passing the ball on the 1 yard line (ignoring Mar, of course). You could put SLO B out there up 5 breaks, and I don’t think they would let Dexter Clyburn slob all over them like the Slugs did. I think any other team in the Southwest region, barring UCLA, would be able to hold a 5 break lead. They had to hold. Downwind. On universe point. I think my grandmother could pull up with 6 other elderly and salvage a hold on universe.
