I was lucky to see him play in person, his last college football game …Cal/ Stanford…” the band is out on the field “ …..’82..What a game he had even though Stanford lost , he made some incredible passes, the 4th and17 , pretty much out of the cal end zone, to get the first down to set up the field goal, with 4 seconds left , then all hell broke loose when Cal lateraled with no time left to win it, it was a great game to watch…best wishes..
Easily 65 yards for the Man! I hated him when he beat my Steelers in the AFC ship, but ALWAYS respected him. Loved him at Stanford while living in San Jose.
All I know is Brady couldn’t have done what Elway did in Denver, especially early on. The GOAT QB list is: 1. Elway 2. Montana 3..Brady 4. Young 5. Marino I’m willing to go to war over this list because I know its right
@@ORagnar Indeed he was. That's why I think he could still throw it 60. Even though he's much older than his playing days, he's a big, strong guy and we know that strength is typically the last thing to go. My father could throw 55 yards at age 60 with 2 bad knees (had operations on both in his 30s), so I would expect Elway to outdo that.
I loved Elway as a player....however, WTF does he have a poster of himself behind his desk. I had a roommate in college who had a poster of himself above his bed in the dormroom... I drew a mustache on it..
Any of these great QBs who want to be good golfers are. Manning and Brady don't practice golf, but their swings are good. Elway was a scratch golfer. Only 2 % of golfers reach that point. I got to a 6 handicap which is good. I always knew it was good but I have a friend who played on tour and he was great. My point QBs are such great athletes with supreme hand eye coordination
So what? Belichick drafted Ryan Mallett, Kliff Kingsbury, Mac Jones, etc etc etc. Drafting franchise/starting QB's is the hardest thing to do in any sport
I am a Seahawks fan since 1976. When judging first year QBs, Elway started terribly. I won't make a decision in year 1. He got his first game action against us and was lost.
There’s no star of Elway’s magnitude who is as genuinely humble as John is. And make no mistake, he’s top 10 all time, maybe top 5.

The reason I’m a broncos fan. The reason I like football to begin with. The man. John Elway
Every time I see John Elway he ages 10 years and I just saw him five years ago
It's that high altitude sun.
He’s only 64! Looks 85.
It’s the booze. John has never been shy to throw em back. Got that booze snoot.
He was a good looking dude. It's hard to recognize him now, but he's still one of the greatest to ever do it.

God bless him, but he looks like Marv Levy's brother. Levy's in his 90s.
One my all-time favorite QBs
Good to see Elway. What a legend, and great insights.
Fritzy has to have the biggest smile in the world watching/listening to this
Made me Broncos fan going on 40 years now. Legend no doubt.

Greatest college prospect of all time.....
Cartman’s father!
Wow he aged fast I saw him 2015 he's not that old but he looks 70
Too funny that John said to Dan to go find your own hand doctor and ask about non surgical treatment when he asked John to help him.
He doesn’t want to give medical advice. More than likely that is a no-no in his contract with the pharmaceutical company he works with.

John is #1
Is it just me or has johns voice changed?
If I had to win one football game, he's my QB.
John is being humble here - I bet he can still throw 60 with a little warmup.
30 maybe
He was able to throw 70+ yards when he was playing. 0

Brian bosworth was right...Mr. Ed with shoulder pads
Elway's the GOAT.
Dan Patrick is 3 years older than John Elway...yikes
Dude drafted Paxton lynch never forget
