aww, I hoped for the Balrog to pick up the Ring for the ultimate power move. But I have to admit, this outcome was even more entertaining! All hail Grimur Balrogslayer, hero of the third age!
All hail Grima Flame Quencher! Hero of middle earth, truly the most noble and courageous of heroes! Never has a more honest and just a man graced the plains of Rohan.
Canonically, Saruman had started breeding Orcs for his own use in T.A. 2990 (28 years before the Quest of the Ring) and was enthralled by Sauron in T.A. 3000 (18 years before the Quest). So Saruman would still be quite thoroughly evil even at this point. But canonicity isn't _exactly_ the priority here, now is it?
Clearly, being able to slay a Balrog - who never die without taking at least one Gandalf-level *or higher* opponent down with them - without any preparation and with minimal backup has convinced him to fight Sauron directly now instead of trying to backstab him for power later.

I try. See you soon!
@@lexusstormcrow9317 We love our Battleboy. Hope you enjoy the chaos as much as we do.
Outrageously good! Can't wait for the next one. Thanks for all the effort you guys pour into these videos!
Genuinely love this version 😂 I'm predicting that somehow fatty bulger will bear the ring to mountdoom, wrestle with gandalf for the ring and then be rescued by a nazgul 🤔
I love this alternate history campaign! Can't wait to see the final duel between ringbearer sam and ringwraith frodo at the very end.
Super happy to have Sarumen on þe side of good! Looking forward to see what sort of heroics he gets up to!
12:24 was a cool shot. nicely done
aww, I hoped for the Balrog to pick up the Ring for the ultimate power move.
I love how the Fellowship is now a group of eight normal-sized dudes with a two-storey tall tree-man just tagging along with them.
Saruman as he should have been, with his best friend Grima 'Balrog-Slayer' Wormtongue
Evidently Grima Balrog-Slayer must be a real positive influence on him.
Clearly, being able to slay a Balrog - who never die without taking at least one Gandalf-level *or higher* opponent down with them - without any preparation and with minimal backup has convinced him to fight Sauron directly now instead of trying to backstab him for power later.
@@ewanhogg3068 Yeah, that makes sense, though of course he might be keeping his options open to betray them later depending on how things go.
Truly one of my favourite RUclips series. When this is finished in 2030 I'll be very sad.
Ah, yes, the true hero of Middle Earth: GRIMA WORMTONGUE!
11:41 Very well done. You knew that meme's origins and utilized it beautifully and flawlessly.
Whenever I tell someone that that meme is from the cover of Lord of the Rings Roleplaying Rulebook, they're surprised.
Shan't lie, seeing fun games like this is why MESBG is my favourite G.W system. Keep up the good work chaps!
You can tell the fellowship wouldn't have lasted long if they kept having to fight Tom. Glad Lewis came in to give them a big win. Gives the dark forces more poins to work with in the future.
Me and my little brother are loving this series. We're hoping Fatty makes it to the end.
Hail, Grima Wyrmbane! Slayer of Demons!
"fantasy fellowship" as opposed to the actual fellowship of the ring which is completely real and all that stuff actually happened
Really enjoyed this. Fun energy, good pacing, and great post effects work.
Grima Wormtongue is not the hero we need, but he is the hero we deserve.
I'm imagining Pippin shouting at the tree, "Awake! Awake! Fear! Fire! Foes! Awake!"
The Legend of Fatty Buldger continues.
i really hope you continue with this, the ongoing narrative and story are so good. Adds so much to just gameplay.
ben u forgot the suspiciously modern looking chain fence around the tower
Many are the advancements of Saruman's creations
That Orthanc model (and the surrounding landscape) is incredible! How long did it take to make?
YESSS!! Your series Ben has got me in to finally getting the lord of the rings middle earth strategy battle game mini's and I'm loving starting my collection, painting and making them. Please do a video on painting mini's and how you guys assemble them. Would love more in depth knowledge from you❤. Love these videos!!! And I love lord of the rings!!! Just finished painting Sauron❤😊
I'm loving this tabletop series, SO MUCH!!
We need a knighted hardened version of Wyrmtongue for future games, the hero we needed!
I'm loving this series! Thank you so much for continuing it. I'd love to see some veterancy bonuses/better equipment for the fellowship as a result of spending time with Saruman & the Elves, and heck maybe even a model change/upgrade for Grima to show his redemption arc? Either way, I'm super hyped for the next one!
You guys are doing amazing work on this channel, and I just felt like giving an extra thanks in support!!! Love the editing, creativity, humor - keep it up :)
Absolutely loving this narrative so far! Thanks, lads!
this is INCREDIBLE!! I am going to parrot the suggestion that farmer maggot nurses a warg back to health to replace his old gandalf slain dogs!!
=
So glad you used my favourite character creamer wormtounge
Grima Wormtongue being the hero who slays the Balrog while also resisting the ring, he's almost taken the role of Aragorn while Aragorn is still in the party. Also I love good Saruman being in the fellowship, kind of hoping somehow we get Saruman of Many Colors incorporated with Gandalf Dog-Killer being slain
Hey, Great! Been waiting for a sequel!
Heck yeah, loving this series, great work everyone!
Loving this campaign, beautiful sets for memorable battles, thanks for the hard work and good luck on ongoing projects.
Grima Balrog-Slayer is an absolute fokking legend! Can't wait for more of him!
did we just turn Grima Wormtongue into fucking caiphas cain!?
PLEASE TELL ME WE MAKE HIM CAIPHAS CAIN
Absolutely love this campaign.
Orc Captain: “Yeah! Why can’t we have some meats?”
Grima: “A just question, my liege…”
