I actually have that very same camera, it's a sturdy camera and having a EF mount is a plus. Taken a few shots with it some street and wildlife but I keep forgetting to bring the film with me for developing when I'm at the camera shop.😅
@@jhenry248 yes the EF mount is such a great option to have on a film camera especially for a 35MM … honestly I kind of prefer this over 120 Film ! Definitely dust it off and take it out more 👍🏽
Thanks so much ! Honestly no I did not use a meter but I’m thinking about using one to test out different lighting situations . Luckily the camera has a built in light meter in camera I just metered for the shadows and when I got back my scans just did a little tweaking in Lightroom ! Definitely learning more about this camera as I go along ! Thanks for watching !
I just got this, and it looks minty. But I can't half press to focus or see my meter reading. When I do, it just fires the shutter. It's like a hair trigger! So I used a custom function to make back button af work, but unfortunately I still can't see the light meter until I fire the shutter! Thoughts? Is there a way I can make back button also show the light meter reading? Is there any other things that might be making my half press not work? Also note, I have the extra grip. It doesn't do half press either! When I try to barely touch it, it just fires a shot.
@@ItsSleepyxo ah okay not sure if it could be the shutter button but on mine long as it gives you that green dot when you half press then it should metering correctly… if not then yea i would suggest looking to maybe finding a function where you can change for that on the back . I do have an online manual for this camera let me know if you want a copy i can send it to you via email .. just hit me up in DM at @ NSY.studios

Hello. I love the way you used your light and shadows on your model. Did you use a light meter? Thanks
