Wow... This is the Africa we are looking for , very creative and innovative, Maya you are the best, God bless you for always supporting this entrepreneurs in Africa ❤❤❤
I’ve been following this company for years so it makes me happy to see it covered here. It would be nice to see Roam’s products in Jamaica instead of having all of our busses and motorcycles coming from Asia all the time. Now that Wode Maya is settled in Kenya, maybe he will decide to do a feasibility study for the Jamaican market and set up a trading company to ship Roam and other Kenyan products to Jamaica if any of the connections he made during his visit last year are interest in a distribution deal. In doing so, he could video document processes involved that average people don’t understand like shipping, duties, taxes, working with the African Export-Import Bank, dealing with customs, etc. Just last week, Jamaica reduced its import duties on EV motorcycles from 20% to 10% and we have a well-developed microfinance lending sector so Roam and other motherland EVs should be welcome here. Even if profits are skinny to begin with, product diversity and developing long-term trade links with other African countries bring immeasurable benefits. Just dreaming out loud…
Watching from Botswana, this is beautiful, amazing stuff. But more care should be taken to ensure staff has proper safety equipment. I observed that some guys are not wearing proper shoes. Well done Kenya ❤️
Great professional at passionate Documenation. Love it. Please showcase more African manufacturing, especially young companies with fresh ideas and products like Roam!
I am happy this is in Africa WODE MAYA thank you so much for showing the other side of Africa that the World ignores and don't want people to see. Once more kudos

I would have said the something. I would change the Government Africa would be UNSTOPPABLE! Africa wouldn't need no outsiders because Africa has everything it needs inside of each and every city in Africa ❤God Bless Africa !
I'm coming to Africa this December and I must say I knew this was coming I can't wait to launch my 50kw motorcycle charging stations while working on this project of mine I designed it to charge EV cars in Canada but it would cost me a fortune to get a facility plus even to get a loan to do so, smh Africa is really gonna be benefiting from my small power 50,000 watts power station, can't wait to visit Ghana Africa is truly the place to take your inventions, my brothers and sisters, beautiful video Wode Maya hope to see more infrastructural videos like this keep up the great work as always. 💯 Jamaica / Canada
I truly believe that one of the ways Africa can become a major player in the EV space is to create batteries right here in Africa. Majority of the cost of an EV is in the battery and Africa supplies about 20% of the world's lithium. Let's come together and produce African EV batteries which we can export to the entire world
Just by showing this company on this channel, Africa will be electrified as a majority of transport is the mass transport like bikes etc. and this is one massive positivity to every country.
in kenya, they are recent additions to cities as well. what i don't like is chaos and lawlessness..though only dusty west african towns had them when i was growing up.
Im super happy for this innovative "Made in Kenya 🇰🇪 electric motor bikes. The way forward is for African leaders to support manufacturing and innovative entrepreneurship production for livelihoods that ensure sustainability in homegrown development.
With over 90% of Kenya’s installed electricity coming from renewable sources like geothermal, hydro and wind, it only makes sense for us to massively adopt clean EVs in all our transportation sector and play our part in reducing greenhouse gas emissions!
Wode Maya, if it’s not in your plans already, please cover Majik Water and take your wife with you when you do. That company also has a great story behind it and their products seem like they would alsobe viable in the Jamaican market.
