Loving the analysis. First time I've heard Shakira mentioned in swimming 😂. Great to think how much improvement there still is. Well done bros.

Is there ever a “double breath” of the turn? From one of the above angle it looked like a breath on the first stroke and straight to the other side for another. Is that just how it looked from above but didn’t actually happen? I’m a sprint breaststroke and flyer and occasional IM. Never did distance FS (especially not to your level). Would there ever be an instance where you would need to double breathe? Well done on your successes by the way. 💪🏽🏊🏼‍♂️ 🇮🇪 🥇

Hi Mark, no double breaths and no we eliminate them totally. We aren’t even allowed to have them in training because you can lose so much speed into the wall

Great breakdown, the author tried to put more thoughts in a shorter video timeline, that's why he decided to make two recordings of himself at 10 minutes each and combined them into one. Thanks

As you say your technique went all over the place, is that a priority to fix or do you not care too much since it's clearly working for you and maybe forcing changes can make you slower? congrats again!

I would say it’s priority to fix as I would go a lot faster with less effort if I didn’t throw my head about

This was really enjoyable! Both of ye really do give great insight we don’t really get from other sports (in Ireland at least). Looking forward to the next one

@@WiffenTwinswould you consider doing a video about your lifting program? I’m more of a mid-distance swimmer; now that I’m older (24) and in an adult master’s league I don’t have time to train distance like I did while I was in my prime, and we did little lifting. It’s kind of hard to find lifting for mid-distance and distance swimming.
