A cracking Job Izzy. Glad you mentioned about the ties as there will be the comments about them being missing. Steve and Alex have their resident wall tie experts spamming them. Keep up the vids and take care
What a transformation, Izzy. No wonder you were chuffed, and equally important, the client as well, along with potential future work from the neighbours! Nice one. 😊 👍
Great job! I used Thompsons Waterseal once on a wall this was happening to to reduce the chances of things getting worse. It worked quite well, did you tell the customer to use anything on the wall to stop the ingress of water? Also, he may want to get efflorescence off the wall (white marks from the salts in the brick) and white vinegar will do it. There are products that will do it. A few pointers from the professionals are appreciated when it comes to after care.
Totally agree on the Titan gear, SDS hammer drill still going strong 8 years and a lot of abuse later. Pound for pound probably the best tool I’ve ever bought, was £55
Izzy sat watching your step video even my wife watched it and said how neat your brickwork is we'll done to u all from a wet worcester simon let's get onto the steels
Haha thanks Simon, really appreciate you and your wife's comments 😊 small delay on a few more bits...but tomorrow we're getting the extension up to dpx
Really good point, and unfortunately I didn't mention it in the video. Obviously without having a decent drip of 20mm+ like on coping stones, it will happen again. Think the main thing was to make the property look more presentable from the curb side
Can always be cut in on top joint. Stainless steel with a 20mm drip then point it tight would have been great with some breather perps (cell block weeps) amazing work like always!!!
Great question! Some bricks are square and flat on the face of the brick. So they are easy to lay. Whereas some aRe like bananas both on the face, whipping out at the ends and in, in the middle. And also those bricks are also bananaed the other way too. Both ends of the brick to the line and the middle below. Makes for poor workmanship

Thanks Steve 😊 ye we recommend the sealer to help reduce the faces of the brick getting damaged again. Told him to give it a coat every 6 months 🙂

Really good looking brick. Nice and square.
The state of that mixer mate 😂
😂😂😂it's seen better days! 7 years old..but probably mixed 50 cube of concrete in that drum over the years
guys, that is mint that brick work. well done.
Thanks very much brother appreciate it 🤜🤛
Nice job, but, surely if you don't address the no drip edge issue, its gonna do it all again!

The wet weather is a pain for all these jobs. I got soaked yesterday putting in an oil tank base.
Nice job buddy, but hey it’s what we all come to expect.
quality brickwork.
Yeaaa boii💪
Clay and concrete should be separated by an expansion joint , yes the drip was missing on the slab ... all would of been contributing to the failure
Protects the ground from mess with a salvage sheet but doesn’t protect his eyes.
Safety squints
Neat job pal
Thanks mate

Sehr gute Arbeit 👍👍👍👍👍👍🙋♂️
Thanks so much 🙂
Forgive my ignorance, but why are some type of bricks easier to lay than other types?

You are unbelievably handsome.

Why do you boys up north never use the mixer legs?
I lost my legs in the garage 😂

Thanks so much mate appreciate it and always happy to hear your enjoying the videos! Hope you had a decent weekend
ur work is good but those dramatic sound scapes arent neccesarry
You don't abide to safety rules
Thought you would jet washed first mate then lay new bricks
Very bad looking brickwork behind the facing bricks. Did the same bricklayer do both skins.
Think so mate
You always wear a mask but use a rubbish breaker you’re going to have white knuckle soon enough. Get a hilti
What do you think to Stu Cromptons trowels mate ? 10”
Mate, I've never used it! Think it's a brilliant idea for those newer to bricklaying however 💪
I didn't see a SINGLE wall tie
You SAID you were going to use starter packs.......where the F*** were they
Alright mate chill out.
Do you think they used wall ties 100 years ago ? Older building are better then new builds
I saw one! 6:39. What do I win?
