That's a bit unfair to bash the Gillingham location, Stadiums used to be built in the middle of a town for the locals convenience in the late 19th century, it's just a really historic location. Watford's stadium is exactly the same and that doesn't get a mention :S
Kawhitastic ! so you are from Serbia? :D I am from Bulgaria and i must say that we have some horrible stadiums. Also in Bosnia I know that there are some awfull stadiums aswell. I asume that in other Balkan countries isn't much different.
Yeah was really shocked to hear that one appear? Considering it was one of the first to try that type of design as well. It's original, creates a good atmosphere on match days and is genuinely a very nice stadium.
I am a Chester fan and somehow stumbled upon this video and I can't believe our ground is on this list because it is built in a Fucking car park. Also they say 'random' car park well it makes sense to build a stadium on a car park to allow easy parking for coaches and cars/fans. Where do they expect these stadiums to be built?
very much picking on teams with old style grounds bang in the middle of the housing estates. these are proper football stadiums, not ugly. football for the working class and all that. today's wide bowels are awful and are soulless
Matthew Smith I used to live in Gillingham and he only showed the bad sides of priestfield stadium not the front which is actually perfectly fine! PS I hate gills football club so no need for me to be sticking up for them but Ur right mate! It's just a traditional no frills stadium!!
The Den is basically a high-security compound designed to stop the shenanigans that happened in the Old Den, not meant to look pretty, but we can still make a pretty good atmosphere (when the police doesn't restrict tickets)
not necessarily. compare highbury to the emirates.. same fans, different atmosphere. i think in general the smaller and more compact stadiums have better atmospheres
Al have you been to a American football game at the college level watching Ohio State play was the best sport experience of my life. A whole 105 thousand people were there at the fourth largest stadium in the world.
Horrible ground! No leg room, Bad views ,over priced shit hole!.Last went there 2003 never going back even if I got a free ticket. The stadium needs to be bulldozed. They should move into Brentford's new ground.
Tbf, our stadium (Millwall) isn't as ugly as the old one. The stadium is nice, but being surrounded by Cold Blow Lane, a caravan site and Bermondsey in general doesn't do us any favours lol, but the site has improved. Though we've grown to love it, as it's the most intimidating place in football. Away fans fear Cold Blow Lane.
The earth is proof of God (The Almighty Creator), just like a painting is proof of a painter, and a building proof of a builder, plus for the world to not have a creator, nature would have to create itself, which is scientifically impossible, therefore The universe has a Creator who has no beginning and no end 💵 MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION💵 QUESTION: Will you go to heaven when you die? What I have gathered from this video; -Having your ground in the town to be helpful to home fans is bad -Having a car park to be helpful to away fans is also bad. Where the fuck do you want a stadium then?
Say what you want about United (I hate them as much as the next guy) but I went to Old Trafford a couple of years ago for Soccer Aid and it's an incredible stadium..
Why are certain English places just 'grey' 'dull' and unexotic in so many ways? Other places there are Zaragoza or Parma or anything colourful while we get Millwall.
Personally I think the Caracas one isn't bad because the spectators never even have to look at the wall as the seats are facing towards the field and thus the amazing view
Sarcasm. DC United has been promised a new stadium several times. I may be off by a year or two. BTW, I'm also an Oakland Raiders fan so I know all about run down venues
Loftus Road and Selhurst Park have a proper old school charm to them. For a truly awful ground try Roots Hall - one stand was rebuilt despite having enough room to go about three rows of seating deep, plus the pitch is atrocious.
The reason that Huddersfield's stadium is designed kind of weird is because if we ever made it to the premier league then you can fill in the corners of the stands with more seats and you can easily take the roof of the brittania rescue stand and add another tier in top
I know right, I think being in a car park is a good thing, makes it so much easier for away fans. Means we don't have to find a public car park the other side of town, or turn up 5 hours early to make sure we get a space in their parking area which holds 4 cars.
I LOVE that Huddersfield stadium, I think its one of the best for design and uniqueness. And who can hate on Selhurst Park? A CLASSIC. One man's ugly is another's beauty.
Where is Tolka Park in Dublin. The roof is rusted, a stand is closed due to Shelbourne not having enough money to repair it. It's also in the middle of a large residential area in north Dublin
Cindy Williams k. Football can't even hold a candle to what it was like to go only 15 years ago, absolute snooze fest nowadays. Just money this and money that, who is in any way interested in the revenues (which are relatively tiny) or market share or fucking staffing of their club? Cindy Williams Football hasn't changed its mutated, just another thing that's been diluted and twisted and wrestled away from those it belongs too to line people's pockets. It's this school of thought that's allowed clubs to charge £60 for a seat and £6 for a pint.
Galati is actually my hometown, the team doesn't exist anymore and the stadium is probably demolished. I actually watched two games there so it's upsetting to see this stadium on the list
Jorge Costa Welcome to Romanian football my friend. Corruption and incompetence are the capital words of our football. The club got financialy destroyed just like many other factories and basically, every successful piece of business in our city because of numerous incompetent idiots with money. The way they managed to own these things is a completely different story. Romania s football has collapsed due to heavy corruption, this is why things like clubs dissapearing happen
All football grounds are great, some could do with a paint job but they've all got character, I prefer going to small grounds rather than the massive stadiums
You forgot Rizal Memorial Stadium in the Philippines but you added Crystal Palace's stadium which is a more popular team than Philippine club teams. The stadium looks like a joke when go the seats. The shocking fact is that is the home stadium of Philippines national team but it doesn't look like stadium for a national team for me.
The stadium has an unusual feature that no other stadium has. It is built in 2 countries. Most of the stadium is in England, but the main stand is actually across the border in Wales.
Most of the stadiums on this list have a charm and character to them, which makes them so much better to look at than all the boring identikit stadiums built in England during the last 20 years. I despair when someone builds a new ground that looks just like the Riverside, Pride Park or King Power.

My local park has a pitch but no goals... Is that beautiful?

berbafan67 I just gope it ain't Napredak FC stadium ( mladost) and Red Star FC stadium (Rajko Mitic/Marakana)
Kawhitastic ! so you are from Serbia? :D I am from Bulgaria and i must say that we have some horrible stadiums. Also in Bosnia I know that there are some awfull stadiums aswell. I asume that in other Balkan countries isn't much different.
Huddersfield's stadium is really nice. From a Leeds fan.
Yeah was really shocked to hear that one appear? Considering it was one of the first to try that type of design as well. It's original, creates a good atmosphere on match days and is genuinely a very nice stadium.
Liam Hanahoe I know I said that
Liam Hanahoe thanks I'm from huddersfield mate your pitch looks nice aswell
Is a great stadium
Liam Hanahoe I agree
That entrance of the Oldham stadium is just amazing. That is football culture!
The new West Ham stadium should be here- its easy for the fans to fight, crap security and a huge running track on the outside
But it still looks good and this is ugliest stadiums but i see where your coming from
Murray 14 saw a video on RUclips with some blokes breaking into it and even walking on the pitch
Murray 14 the fighting isn't the stadiums fault it's the fans West Ham fan
It’s also designed for other purposes
The Stadium was only built in 2016
I am a Chester fan and somehow stumbled upon this video and I can't believe our ground is on this list because it is built in a Fucking car park. Also they say 'random' car park well it makes sense to build a stadium on a car park to allow easy parking for coaches and cars/fans. Where do they expect these stadiums to be built?
Not in a car park?
these stadiums are mostly quite nice and traditional
Nothing wrong with a car park my home clubs stadium is in the middle of a field
hey my favorite clubs stadium is behind a cementary and a church so nothing to worry about :P
Robert Taylor UTS
Loftus road is one of the best stadiums in the football league with the atmosphere and the tightness it's great in my opinion

ugly stadium? pretty sure it got an award for its design and the person who made this video is a Leeds fan
compared to what we have in nepal....those are world class stadium's
very much picking on teams with old style grounds bang in the middle of the housing estates. these are proper football stadiums, not ugly. football for the working class and all that. today's wide bowels are awful and are soulless
A lot of average stadiums.... i'm sure there are a lot, like really a lot worse ones
nothing wrong with Huddersfield, palace, Chester and priestfield
Matthew Smith I used to live in Gillingham and he only showed the bad sides of priestfield stadium not the front which is actually perfectly fine! PS I hate gills football club so no need for me to be sticking up for them but Ur right mate! It's just a traditional no frills stadium!!
Matthew Smith ikr
all these stadiums have character and thats an important trait. although the den is a bit dull tbf
David Rocastle
Yeah, their character is shitty and old.
David Rocastle people like to use the word character whenenever something sucks
The Den is basically a high-security compound designed to stop the shenanigans that happened in the Old Den, not meant to look pretty, but we can still make a pretty good atmosphere (when the police doesn't restrict tickets)
catandfishfc yes! #COYL #WEAREGOINGUP
My god, did a rustic stadium steal your lunch money?
Fans make the stadium not it's structure.
not necessarily. compare highbury to the emirates.. same fans, different atmosphere. i think in general the smaller and more compact stadiums have better atmospheres
Sarvesh Salkar
I thought it was construction workers who made stadiums.
Cindy Williams nailed it xD
Al have you been to a American football game at the college level watching Ohio State play was the best sport experience of my life. A whole 105 thousand people were there at the fourth largest stadium in the world.
Huddersfield's stadium is aesthetically pleasing..wtf u on about?
That one looks unique in a deliberate good way
otelu galati stadium is good what is the problem with the colours????that is the colours of the club
scaunele sunt decolorate nu observi
Where's the Etihad Stadium? It's a fantastic looking venue but usually all you can see are empty stands...
Ryaan moon
It's a great stadium.

I love loftus road it's my FIFA stadium
Me too. I was there last year and it's a great stadium. The guy who made this video has to be used to visit top class stadiums only.
Dani Lastra yep exactly
It looks like a shoebox
I hate the corner of the away end... I legit paid to see the side of another stand and not the game..
Horrible ground! No leg room, Bad views ,over priced shit hole!.Last went there 2003 never going back even if I got a free ticket. The stadium needs to be bulldozed. They should move into Brentford's new ground.
Stoke is there even without watching the video. Cause what the fuck is the pattern.
lol I had wrong nice
Mickez Gaming nice try😂👌

DMC Crumlin
Nostalgia gone mad.
The Millwall stadium should have shown it's fans in the stand, then it would have easily been the ugliest.
BoloYung or a picture of ur mother
BoloYung at least the ground has atmosphere. You're probably an arsenal fan, making no noise. Sad gooners
came here to say that myself...
So many fans of other clubs are jealous that Millwall has atmosphere.
oh whoopsies thought this was worst stadiums not worst toads beside stadiums
road*
What I have gathered from this video;
-Having your ground in the town to be helpful to home fans is bad
-Having a car park to be helpful to away fans is also bad.
Where the fuck do you want a stadium then?
huddersfield town stadium is great and has an amazing atmosphere on matchdays
George Fenik true especially with the cowshed
UTT
Selhurst park is a proper old school stadium, it may be a bit rough but has the best atmosphere.
Lotus road is one of the most atmospheric stadiums in the country, this guys a tool!
"Easily the worst in the Prem?" The atmosphere alone makes Selhurst better than the plastic monstrosities like the Emirates and London Stadiums..
Loftus Road is nice actually, you're mistaken ...
I would like to see talksport make a better stadium
son of chelsea except for the fact that they aren't builders and are just reviewing...
son of chelsea do you have to make a movie when you dislike a movie?
half of these stadiums are nice old grounds
Not suprising coming from a Blue. RRRRRRGH
Ed the saint
No, they're old and shitty.
Thanks
Our stadium isn't that bad. Is it?
Louis Copeland no it isn't
Good
I love Selhurst personally. So distinctive and a proper old English ground, not an emotionless oval like the Emirates.
Well we might be on a normal road next to Sainsburys but what counts is atmosphere, atmosphere I say.
Ok but Hamilton's stadium (Scotland) is attached to the back of Morrisons.
:-D :-D
You've just listed lower league stadiums in rough parts of Britain... That doesn't make them bad... Very lazy
Mattershack Chester is not rough
John smith's stadium is kinda cool
arindam mondal exactly, I'm a Huddersfield fan and I think that our stadium is great
arindam mondal just wish the corners were filled in.
Only you could just watch a game from the corner instead of buying a ticket
Chester's seems to be built on a random car park? Maybe because that's the fucking car park for the stadium.
JackEFC it actually is aswell
lol :)
Why is the John Smiths on here they have a quality stadium an atmosphere is decent
The stadiums in England have a special beauty and pride
Where's Old Trafford?
Old Trashford* 😂😂

Black German Signa Park(cars)
Say what you want about United (I hate them as much as the next guy) but I went to Old Trafford a couple of years ago for Soccer Aid and it's an incredible stadium..
Last time I was this early
I've never been this early before
Should have been named "3 ugly stadiums and 11 other stadiums"
2:36 : "What the hell is this ?" > Why, it's the designated spot for welcoming any West Ham fan, obviously...
If you're reading this i hope you have a nice day
John Smith's Stadium is beautifull, not ugly!
If you don't like Otelul Galati's colour scheme, then shouldn't West Ham and Villa be on the list too?
Mr K Yeah, right. Take a look at Amsterdam Arena pls. Cheeck THAT colour scheme bruh
Good news: the strange stand of the Bosuil Stadion has been demolished
Why are certain English places just 'grey' 'dull' and unexotic in so many ways? Other places there are Zaragoza or Parma or anything colourful while we get Millwall.
So do I...........
:(
But I will love the UK till I die
Personally I think the Caracas one isn't bad because the spectators never even have to look at the wall as the seats are facing towards the field and thus the amazing view
Huddersfield and qpr and selhurst park are all great said by wba fan
Personally, I love the old style stadiums. Even with their quirky little things.
bEkOTV1
Nostalgia gone mad. Move on.
Most of the worst stadiums comes from England. It would be better if TalkSport explained it a little bit more.
The team Otelul Galati doesn't exist anymore in the first romanian division (Liga 1) is in the fourth division (Liga 4 Galati)
I'm surprised Yankee Stadium didn't make the list
Or the DC United stadium, it is all torn up paint on the inside!
David S well yankee stadium's for baseball
Don't worry, the new DC stadium will be ready for the 2004 season
Dave Bliss 2004?
Surely White Hart Lane should be on here?
Sean Lewis stfu
White hart lane is nice because your so close to the action
Huddersfield stadium is nice, and considering it's age, it has stood the test of time.....
Loftus Road isn't bad tho...
The reason that Huddersfield's stadium is designed kind of weird is because if we ever made it to the premier league then you can fill in the corners of the stands with more seats and you can easily take the roof of the brittania rescue stand and add another tier in top
Overestimated Huddersfield’s popularity and success there chap
I was just about to like this and then Chesters ground popped up
I know right, I think being in a car park is a good thing, makes it so much easier for away fans. Means we don't have to find a public car park the other side of town, or turn up 5 hours early to make sure we get a space in their parking area which holds 4 cars.
Mister Okami who do you support
Torquay.
Our ground is one of those I was describing as not particularly easy for away fans lol.
Mister Okami please beat Wrexham today
TGM IIIV I wouldn't bet on it lol
I LOVE that Huddersfield stadium, I think its one of the best for design and uniqueness. And who can hate on Selhurst Park? A CLASSIC. One man's ugly is another's beauty.
Oldham? Spotland and Gigg Lane are worse than Boundary Park
CRB Premier i always enjoy oldhams ground. good atmosphire.
Al H I love Oldhams ground they have good fans and its a good traditional ground
Innit Oldham FTW
I don't think john smith stadium is ugly
these stadiums are all incredible (check the balcanian ones)
Huddersfield's stadium is actually really nice looking...
all of these teams stlill get more supporters that show up than Man City
Huddersfield is harsh but qpr and gillingham are spot on, you can't even see the goal for certain positions at qpr
How dare name and shame Chester FC

Sarah Williams have u ever been there and who do u support
1:21 I actually think that design looks unique and cool. Reminds me of the Jays dome in canada

The shocking fact is that is the home stadium of Philippines national team but it doesn't look like stadium for a national team for me.
why is the Huddersfield stadium there
John smith stadium actually looks nice
Atleast we see some fans there unlike etihad
east fife stadium was really nice with that power station, too bad they knocked it down :/
Old Trafford?
The stadium has an unusual feature that no other stadium has. It is built in 2 countries. Most of the stadium is in England, but the main stand is actually across the border in Wales.
7 and 9 are fine by me
I find 7 very nice tbh
Joao De Andrade same
Bit harsh on Huddersfield.
This article is fucking cancer, yous only know of British grounds, and most of these stadiums aren't that bad
Whoever made this PISSES ME THE FUCK OFF for putting Huddersfield on here, because he knows fuck all!
"what the hell is that"
A bridge, that is a bridge.
Kenilworth Road?
No thats just a house with too many plastic seats and a shit lawn
