Best camera angle ever for showing how to tie a tie. Well done!
Appreciate the comment - thank you!
I agree dude, such a great and simple idea. I had to slow down the video just in case but good enough. Mine is more easier to adjust
Excellent and very useful!
The overhead camera was perfect! Thank you.
Thank you!

I really like this type of videos. But please don't skip the end part where the dimple is made or make a video on how to make it.
That was my only disappointment, how to make the dimple?!?
Yeah please! I also noticed this, please make a video on that!
Really loving the quality of these videos Antonio! :)
Thanks, Mayank!
You skipped the most important part - the dimple. That's the part most people can't get right. I love the camera angles though.
I'm going to sport the power knot tomorrow and tell my boss his job is now mine, pack his shit and get out! Thanks RSMS!
I was never a tie person and always had it a tie tied for me. But learning each time about style and dressing formal and casual did trigger me to take my fashion to the next step, so I tried it today and I look stylish I must admit. Picture will be uploaded on Facebook soon
Hey Antonio, could you do please do a celebrity style series episode on Kingsman the secret service? thank you for video, have a nice day.
Noted. It's on queue.
thank you, and thank you for all your content.
The music brings life to this video. Keep it up Antonio!
Glad you enjoyed it.
pretty much the only knot I use!.
:)
I prefer the full Windsor. I always have a difficult time getting the notch in the center, I was hoping to get that trick in this video. You're a great source of Men's fashion tips! Keep it up.
I keep seeing the triangle but when I do it I always get a freaking square
Great video Antonio, you were the only one who showed it from the overhead view, everyone else showed the front of chest view, which wasn't good to practice with. Bravo!
Great instructional video, the biggest problem I'm having is when I tighten it the V shape is lost or the knot underneath starts coming out from the side when I attempt to straighten it I seem to kill it ..
That camera angle is excellent. I haven't seen anyone else do that, and it works.
Saved me before my little sisters wedding!.
The tie, even though i for some reason prefered to tie it opposite to the video, it still ofc came out looking like a 10/10 double windsor.
Paired with a brand new suit in classy black, with black inner vest, red pattern tie.
Next time i'll get an inner vest (with real pockets) .. that can accommodate a pocket watch, just for the hell of it.
Anyways thank you.

Dear Antonio,
I have my school graduation tomorrow, and I will be the valedictorian for the celebration along with one of my female classmates. We are both evidently going to be wearing formal attire, and I would like to know what to wear. I recently bought a $30 pre-tied bowtie which I know are very infamous, but I've never worn a bowtie before and I would like to try it. The bowtie is composed of black and green strips, and my question is if I should match it with a blue or a white dress shirt. I will also be wearing a black suit. I have short black hair, and brown eyes. I have olive skin, and am slightly above the standard weight for my age, though taller as well. I'm afraid that my bowtie might stand out too much, and wouldn't appear very serious, and might even have the opposite effect. Would that specific bowtie be acceptable and could I pull it off easily if it isn't as professional? I have another $30 purple necktie that I purchased on the same day as an alternative.
Thank you.
OORAH DEVIL! Just wanted to say awesome channel and I have already subscribed. This is definitely my favorite knot, I always used this knot for my Pickle Suit!
I went through 7 videos before I running into yours your fabulous man keep up the good work
Best neck tie tutorial to date! Great choice of view angle. So many other tutorials out there were so fast that it's easy to get lost, and rightfully so I made some negative comments on those vids: "slow the fuck down you bastards"
You helped me a lot, thanks
You should’ve showed the most important part, how you got the perfect dimple. It’s something that many people forget and without it looks amateur.
I love these tutorials Antonio. :) looking forward to more
We have more coming...
I learned this knot 20 years from GQ magazine. Great video!
i must concur with other comments. The camera angle made this happen and is the best tie presentation I've seen. Im hoping to do my bow tie next:)
So whenever I tie my ties with a FW, the tail or small end doesn't even come close to reaching to keeper hole. I usually have to safely pin it to the actual tie itself. Any suggestions? Anyone else have this problem?
yes, then i noticed my tie had a little pin from the factory so i used that to keep it in place. a simple straight pin will do, no need for a big safety pin
I find the double four in hand as an equally suitable power knot
Nice knot Mr.Antonio its very powerful for a meeting or a formal occasion!
How does one perfectly hide the top button fabric creating a flawless look from neck to tie knot ?
This video is cool bro. Thanks for the enlightenment.
I learned how to tie a tie from you after watching a hundreds videos
Wow! this video just taught me how to wear a tie...Thanks a lot
You should note in your discussion of tie knots that one of the great faux paus of tie wear is to use anything but a four in hand (or double four in hand if the tie is quite long) with button down shirts. It's almost a class significator.
Button down shirts are, themselves, controversial for business wear, but in many professions -- e.g. the law -- they are ubiquitous even at the most formal 'white shoe' firms, and have been since at least the early 1980s.
Full windsor knots should be worn with spread collars and wing collars, and half-windsor should be worn with point collars.
A fair rule of thumb is that if a shirt has French cuffs, the knot should be windsor or half-windsor. (The very notion of a button down collar with French cuffs is incomprehensible - something seen only when a man with no style has so offended his shirtmaker that he is not gently dissuaded from ordering it).
I go into more detail here: www.realmenrealstyle.com/full-windsor-necktie-knot/
Hey Antonio,
There's a bit of a "fat guy paradox" to tie length. If you let the belt rest under the gut, where it naturally wants to go, the tie hangs off the end of the gut, giving it a "too long" look. Conversely, if you wear the belt on the hips but over the gut, the tie has a proper length, but you're stuck with the "belt around a basketball" problem of your pants falling off all day. Advice? Thanks sir.
For correct wear, the tie should be at least 4 centimeters (about 1.6 inches) longer than a conventional tie. Also, wearing suspenders should help.
Didn't talk about the tie dimple. Good video otherwise
hi. how do I get it so there's a dimple on either side beneath the knot?
Here I am again
But it's my wedding this time 🥳😅
Nice. Unfortunately the Windsor looks out of proportion with me as I'm only 5'8" and very slim- that's why I wear a half windsor.
It best compliments a strong square, or round face, or one with facial hair.
great instructional video however I beg to differ that the full Windsor looks best on larger men I wear that knot more often than half Windsor or four-in-hand and the full Windsor works well with my smaller build thanks for the information.
Exactly. The Full Windsor should be the go to knot for men who are stout, or have wider necks. The Windsor will look appropriately proportional with your face and build.
man this was a great video :D
Really helped me :)
Antonio, I would like to ask how you tie a necktie with dimple? In this video it is the step in between 1:27 and 1:30. Thank you in advance, and I really enjoy your content. It is inspiring me to be a sharper dressed man!
The tie should be at least 4 centimetres (about 1.6 inches) longer than a conventional tie and use a classic, long silk tie to tie it.
And so i always have been tying myself a full windsor power necktie! Great analog to Harvey Specter! (Suits fan here!)
Nice! Me too.
Great information as always Antonio!
Thank you!
Got it on the first try after this explanation. PERFECT. Thank you!
i have been tying my tie like this since i was 11. my grandpa taught me , but only today after 17 yrs i come to know that its called a Windsor !
Cool! There's also the half windsor knot :)
Love the Full Windsor. Always looks great. I remember at MCRD the Drill Instructors being pissed that regs might switch to a half Windsor but still had in Full. Said we may learn the half but always use the Full even in civilian attire.
Best Tutorial ever.
Thankyou!!!!
In your own opinion, which knot would be the best for a Security Guard? I was thinking this one myself. Thanks
For months i know that knot i use it every day....
Great to hear! Full-Windsor knots go best at highly formal events, such as weddings or business meetings with highly important or powerful individuals.
Real Men Real Style Exactly....
By far the best video for tying this knot.
Thank you for putting in the extra effort to get a great camera angle. Best tutorial ever.
Appreciate that John! Thank you
This is literally the best how to video on full windsor knots I've seen. I've tried several times and fail each time but with the overhead angle i can really see what is going on and got it on the first try! Thank you.
I really like this type of videos. But please don't skip the end part where the dimple is made or make a video on how to make it.
Here's a detailed article of the video: www.realmenrealstyle.com/full-windsor-necktie-knot/
This is a great video and the camera overhead is awesome. Want more of these videos : ) Thank you very much.
Thanks for watching :) We have more coming...
I will recomend this video in case somone needs a tie quickly. Also saved for myself as a reminder ;)
Awesome! Sounds like a plan.
what kind of pen. Does a Real Man use. Fountain pen or Ball point or Anything else?
Good question! I'll talk about it in another video
I really like the music to these tie vids.
I simply can't find a tie that is long enough to support a double Windsor knot... Any comments?
Thanks for the video - that camera angle is absolutely fantastic as other videos just made me more confused
This is the best instructional video on how to tie a tie, just by virtue of the point of view. It shows what you would see if tying this knot. Most instructional videos show you what it looks like from a "third person" perspective, which is not helpful at all. Are you going to make more of these with different knots? Those would be great to see. Thanks for your work, and this site, Antonio, you're awesome!
Yes, we have more coming. Check out the other necktie knots here: www.realmenrealstyle.com/?s=necktie
Thanks!
Thanks Antonio. I so needed this. I always come out with lopsided ties and constantly try to pull it over to the center to be symmetrical. Now I see I just got the style of knot wrong. I don't know WHAT I was tieing previously.
Hey Bill, you can check my step by step tutorial here: www.realmenrealstyle.com/full-windsor-necktie-knot/
cool
That was a great video. I personally have difficulty tying a tie.
Thanks!
Thanks. This was really helpful!
Thank you Antonio for this great video by the way this is my favorite knot 😁
Cool!
I watch this video at least once a year
I tried it, and it worked. Cool I've always had store staff tie it for me.
Awesome! Check out more tie knot you can tie here: www.realmenrealstyle.com/how-to-tie-necktie-chart/
Wonderful.Learning from India.
Great basics. Thanks for sharing.....I use this knot often.
You're welcome!
cant see behind the hands.....
Hey Antonio, love your videos. I was wondering if you could do a video on how to dress sharp for college students. (low budget)
www.realmenrealstyle.com/students-style/ - Already covered it ;)
Awesome. Watching it now. Thanks :D
I'm 5ft9in is this a bit big for me? I prefer pointed collars. Should i use the half windsor instead?
You have to figure that out for yourself, it's not really about your height but also your weight and the size and width of the tie. Some classic ties which are considered wide today can end up looking ridiculous which is why it's better to them in a half windsor. In my opinion anyway.
Point collars always call for a half-windsor. There simply isn't room between the points for a full windsor to show to advantage.
Nice tie knot. I usually do it for formal occasions.
Good! It's actually is suited for highly formal events, such as weddings or business meetings with highly important or powerful individuals.
Full Windsor is great.
I LOVE THIS VIDEO! Best tutorial on how to tie a tie, as well I loved the camera angle and the music, I think that it makes the video more joyful in comparison to your other ones.
Super - thanks Santiago!
+Real Men Real Style Ab Fab. :) Good work.
Appreciate it. Thanks for watching.
so easy that a caveman can do it
This is a knot tie my dad used in the late 60's and 70's.
Nice! What other tie knots did your dad teach you?
What is the music in this video? Its really catchy
Thanks a lot! I was struggling in the process of learning this type of knot! Awesome video man! Keep it up!
Glad it helped! :)
Love this knot, but it's not easy to get the right final size, but it's surely a habit to get.
For correct wear, the tie should be at least 4 centimeters (about 1.6 inches) longer than a conventional tie.
Thanks Antonio !
best formatted and filmed tie video I've ever seen. The angle was great, short in case you're in a hurry and clear instructions. great job
Thank you!
Great video, Antonio! I'd love to see one where you could go in more depth on how to get a great looking tie dimple. Thanks
Thanks Andrew!
The camera angle makes this video fantastic
Thanks!
That suit looks sharp, thanks for the tip.
Thank you!
This is by far my favourite knot.
Cool!
The windsor is the knot my father taught me when I was a teen. It"s the only tie knot I use. Thanks for the video .
Nice! Thanks for watching my video.
smart camera angle!
5 ft9 & 150 lbs. Would a full windsor look to big?
A gentleman with a wide face and neck combination should opt against the small knot of the four in hand due to its smaller knot size. On the other hand, a man with a narrow face or neck will find that the four in hand tie knot flatters his proportions nicely.
thanks man youre really good at answering these comments
Great Video!
please tell me how to look good in a long fur coat please
That's for another video, Ryan.
thank you
Best way to show how to tie a tie 😎🖖🏻
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
nice video one
Thanks for watching :)
nicu
Great video.
Thanks!
Thanks!
You're welcome!
Make a Video about it
Which one?
about the pen. I am a college student and want to create my impression. I saw the previous video of college and I am inspired. so please help me with the pen.
I can tie million time better knot than you do.
