Brisbane, and Taiwan are also some of my favorites, but the quality is pretty bad. Also Tokyo would be another good option.

If you were Mariah Carey, not just any singer, but Mariah Carey, it would be hard not to think of Julie Andrews when it comes to vocal surgery, or not recall that Elton John lost so much range. But, at this point, I really believe Mariah needs to take the risk and repair her voice.... its all still there.
@@erikatorresmusic_ that’s a good point. I don’t think she’d want to take the risk of losing her whistles by removing her nodules, but there’s a lot she could with vocal therapy and exercises. See Beacon 2014 for the results of her warming up extensively for a couple days- she sounds very similar to her prime years.

There is absolutely no relation between whistles and nodules, because many healthy singers do whistles incredibly well and even with a timber very close to Mariah's, like Ariana and Chanté. But if he said it was gonna be good, she decided to take the surgery and something bad happened, he would've lost his entire career. Sad that she didn't go for another opinion and that Tommy himself felt scared of anything that could hurt her voice and chose to let it be.
The dress reminds me of her 2006 Grammy performance. Would you be able to answer something as a vocal coach about what Mariah has said about her vocal chords? She said that because of her nodes that when her belts are strong and clear she has limited access to her whistle register, but when her whistle register is strong her belts are weak. Do you know what is happening vocally with her nodes to cause that?
