as a North African, she really touched me with this speech about the diversity of the African music, because it doesn't just include afro beats, it also includes Gnawa, Chaabi, Tarab Andalousi and many more that are very common in North Africa
@@DearBill because we are part Arab and Amazigh, we are still African since we literally LIVE in Africa, and half of us are literally black, especially people from the south, where i am originally from, (Zagora, Morocco) people have a dark skin colour, but i am white because my mom is white, but one of my brothers and my dad are black. we are very diverse, and we do not like people from the gulf, we look kind of European (Spanish, French, Portuguese) , because we were colonised by them for a really long time.
Except South Africans dont care about speaking english well, but we still do. We speak our own mother tongue well! Feel great to not have to worship english
